"Why are you here?" Keith asked, his tone stern. "To help, of course," Mars replied, his own black and white ice swords forming with newfound ease.
Keith stared at him, watching out for any tiredness, staggering, signs of weakness and he would drag him back to bed.
Despite the crude fighting stance, there was a fierce, untamed beauty to him now. He was at Mars’s side in a blur, "you better not faint," he warned.
"But I'm fine," Mars rolled his eyes, hefting his swords, "and you need me, for example... that one," he pointed at a shifter that was different from the rest.
