A strange, cool warmth spread from her touch, and for a fleeting second, my vision seemed to sharpen, the colors in the room becoming impossibly vibrant. “Mom... what is that?” I whispered, my voice filled with awe and a flicker of uncertainty. She smiled, a secretive, ancient look in her eyes. “A very old blessing, my dear. From my mother, and her mother before her. It is said that on her wedding day, a Luna should not only see the world before her…” she paused, her voice dropping to a hushed, meaningful tone, “...but also catch a glimpse of the paths that lie ahead. Now, look again.”

Luna: [This is a love that's exclusive to me, right? Matthew: [Of course, it's exclusive to you.] Jenna read through the blog post and suddenly stopped at one of them. Luna pestered Matthew for a love confession, and he made her a promise. Matthew: [I'll surprise you and fulfill your wish in a month.]

I felt myself waver for a moment. It did seem as if a bright, innocent, and foolish young man was rushing toward me with the flowers in his arms.

I just pray to the Moon Goddess that he will find his true mate and can find happiness that he truly deserves after everything he has been through. “You are the one that is amazing and I wish you nothing but happiness. I will always be here for you and I just hope that the Moon Goddess blesses you.” I tell him as I lean over him and place a soft kiss on his cheek, as if I was saying goodbye to him. All the feelings I have for him as peace washes through me knowing he will be okay.

He approached both warriors and used magic to mark a little praying-for-blessings sign on the back of each man's right hand. The crowd remained silent throughout the process. I could feel some glances directed at me. Leaving a praying-for-blessings sign on the back of a warrior's right hand was how Alphas showed their appreciation for their right-hand Betas. Lost in thought, I was startled as a hand was placed on my shoulder. "What are you thinking about? You look so cranky," Lux, the owner of the hand, sat down next to me.

The pack quieted naturally—no forced hush, just respect. Mara held up a simple bowl filled with herbs and salt. Not ceremonial. Not grand. Just old tradition. “Every full moon,” Mara said calmly, “we bless what endures.” Haley’s chest tightened slightly at the word. Endures. Mara’s gaze swept the crowd. “Tonight,” she continued, “we bless the pack.” She dipped her fingers into the bowl and sprinkled a pinch into the fire. A soft hiss. A scent rose—sage, cedar, something clean.

Raven put his leg on Marcus's throat and give a triumph sign to his followers. “God Bless Alpha, God Bless The Silver Moon Pack”. They all declared in one voice. Marcus looked at all in disgust. He tried to release himself by holding Raven's leg but his powers were declining with the smoke.
