I looked back only to see Nana holding her chest with one hand, her face red. My heart stopped. I stood up from Iris immediately and ran towards her. Her face twisted in pain and her phone dropped to the ground. She swayed. Then collapsed. I ran faster, barely catching her before her body hit he ground. "Call 911" I yelled.

" Marian's eyes welled up with tears upon hearing my words, her heart breaking even more. "Right, it was me who allowed myself to believe in a love that was never meant to be," Marian whispered, her voice trembling with a mix of sadness and acceptance. "I can't change the past, but I can change the future, right?" She smirked through her tears, staring at me. "If I can't be happy, then neither can you, Jane." She smiled, pushing Jane hard against the wall. The force of her shove caught me off guard, but I couldn't do anything to stop Jane from falling to the ground. I can only watch in horror as she crumples to the floor, her body limp and lifeless.
