Once or twice while I watched, I was sure they’d go down, but Mason managed to keep balance.
As the song ended, I saw Mason say his goodbyes and quickly found his way over to me. The moment he was close enough, he grabbed my hand and led me to a sitting area. “Leave me alone with that woman again, and so help me, pet.” he sighed in frustration. I laughed softly. “I needed some entertainment, love. But I promise I won’t leave ya alone with her again.” I said, still chuckling. “Glad you found that amusing. In my life, I don’t think I’ve had my feet stomped on that many times. For being about eight stones, it felt more like twelve on my poor feet.” he grumbled, sitting down.
