With a sense of pride, she continued, " Mom, Zhang Chen, I'd like you to meet Mateo, my boyfriend." Zhang Chen and Vera extended their hands, warmly welcoming Mateo into their circle. Vera, with her discerning eye, complimented Mateo on his simplicity in dressing. "I like your sense of style," she remarked, her words filled with admiration.
