I give a modest smile. I study him. "So Matt are you a doctor by chance?" I probe. "Yes, a neurosurgeon." he says flatly. Hmm. "Mate." "He wouldn't know..." she whispered, her voice barely audible. "Huh?" Matt asked, sounding confused. "If we... he wouldn't know... we could..." she murmured, talking to herself and trying to justify the thoughts that were running rampant in her mind now. A smile bloomed on Matt's face as he took a step forward. "Mate," he whispered in her ear as his fingers traced the contours of her body, confirming that he had been experiencing exactly what she had.
