Hearing my explanation she sighs and nods in agreement. But our discussions were less than over.

From all of the explanations, the Raven Queen still did not seem satisfied with this. "Where is this boar, now?" She asked, cutting him off mid-sentence by raising her hand at him. The Queen was not in the mood for niceties and was only behaving this way because it would be very difficult to get a new chef of the highest standard, for all of the events that were to come. It was Maven who took the lead on this: "This way, my Lady." With a slight crusty she led the Raven Queen to the meat storage space.

"Her heir," I said. "Her heir," she said. We sat with that for a moment in the cold garden air. "The records name the queen," Aveline said. "Vaelindra Morne. They describe her gifts. The moon-woven healing. The prophetic sight. The red wolf form that no Luna of the Northern Clan had manifested in three generations before her." She paused. "They also describe what those gifts look like in an heir whose blood carries them suppressed."

‘I think you just forced River to go to school again,’ said Raven. Maddie smiled. ‘I force someone? I would never do that, would I? ‘ Raven laughed loudly. ‘Where is my red queen actually? Is she hiding in this cool rock chick?’ Secretly slid his hand under her shirt as he kissed her. ‘Raven,’ she said indignantly, but there was a smile in her eyes. This way he found life at its best, enjoying it with Maddie, no problems to chase after. But how long would that take?

“It’s all right.” Hellion jolted a bit as she suddenly heard the softness in his voice. A strange feeling welled up within her, particularly in her stomach. Her child reacts. Xegris then told her. “Now that my seed is inside you. You’ll bear the heir of the Demon realm. You will be my Queen, the mother of the whole realm.” He then caressed her stomach in a gentle manner and retracted his body away from her. Xegris sighed softly as he finally tucked her into the blanket. Hellion confusedly look at him. Her eyes brimming with doubt. She must’ve been surprised seeing him like this.

His gaze lifts. And locks onto mine. The room fades. Just for a moment. Then A voice rises above the noise. Smooth. Unfamiliar. And far too interested. “So,” the man says, stepping forward, his eyes fixed on me. “This is the new queen.” My breath catches. Because there is something in his gaze Something dark Something dangerous.

Kitty lowered her eyes and avoided Erebus's eyes. The Queen sneered coldly and turned to Kitty: "Well, well, well! You are good, little girl! What is it that you want?" She didn't say it out loud, but there was nothing left for her beg for mercy from Kitty, or fight her way out of here, killing all the people here today, but had to run forever from both the Kingdom, AND the Coven. The Coven could turn their head away from what was happening here, so long as the main function of the werewolves are maintained; but if someone mess up with that, then even the Red Queen won't be tolerated.
