She struggled slightly to get in and looked up at me somewhat embarrassed. “Short people problems”, she laughed shyly and shrugged her shoulders The moment she got in I got hit with the most intoxicating smell. It smelled like cinnamon and sugar mixed with something floral that I couldn’t quite recognize. Ajax started pacing in my head practically salivating over this girl we didn’t even know, who wasn’t even a werewolf, but a witch! What was his deal? “So Sierra, is it? Your dad tells me you’re in your senior year! That’s exciting”, my dad said breaking me from my own thoughts.

A complete absurdity! They were two women, and they were five huge men, is that unfair? Yes, I know. Cowardly? Also, I needed to do it, it would be simpler and quicker, cleaner, and leave fewer traces, so that's how it happened, they'd soon get over it, everyone has been mugged once in their life and gotten over it, except the little princess and queen of Ridgewood, but at least now they knew what the experience was like not being able to feel pity, maybe a little at seeing her mother unbalance and fall, but it was part of the process.

I started, ‘cause I felt like I was the one meant to address this but Liam was the first to get words out. “He’s done worse. Spoiling the evening by talking about him won't change anything.” Goddess, I don’t deserve Liam. He’s a lifesaver. “What’s done is done,” he added a bit angrily but the girls were not convinced. Rachel held my hand and looked at me with big beady eyes. Her eyes are so damn beautiful—a popular trait of witches. Before the other divisions got to understand witches, rumors were spread that one could ‘bewitch’ you with her eyes and make you serve her for eternity.

Three for Harry Potter, one for Darlings of the Forest. “Kinda got to go with Mia. D.o.F. for me.” Alice places her vote, getting a cheer from Mia. Lia sticks her tongue out at her as the movie vote comes to a three to two. “I want Harry Potter. We have seven movies we can watch with this series.” Sky chuckles out, grabbing a blanket from the back of the couch and throwing it over us. Alec and Max throw in their own votes to Harry Potter. Even with Adam and Kian voting with Alice and Mia, the vote was in our favor and Mia reluctantly put on Harry Potter and the Philosopher Stone.

now Aza's voice looks disbelieving, how could there be a world like that, witches, vampires, werewolves, isn't that just a myth? The more Aza thought, the more confused he was with the contents of the book. Or maybe this is a fairy tale book that he accidentally read and fell asleep, while sleeping the book hit his head so that he forgot that he had the book and read it last night, ok like that. "Argh! No logic, no logic, no logic! What the hell!" Aza grumbled in frustration. "Aza! Come down! Let's eat!" At the moment the confusion in Aza's mind widened, Aubrey's voice was like a savior for Aza who was thinking so hard that he was confused by what he was thinking.

Darice looked at Ana in disbelief. "It doesn't say but the characteristics described are very similar to the Falkland wolf." "That book must have been written by a madman. Or it could be a wolf that looks like that." Darice still did not believe Ana's words. Ana just shrugged her shoulders lazily to explain more. They both went back to drinking coffee while busy with their own thoughts. "Hurry up and finish your coffee, class will start soon." Darice reminded Ana to hurry up. Ana glanced at the clock on her phone then nodded. The girl gulped down the remaining coffee half at a time. Darice just shook her head at that.

Miya went rigid. She pushed herself up, the sheet falling to her waist. Her eyes were cold. “Kind?” she spat. “She is a seductress! A witch!” “She isn't!” Finn argued, forgetting himself. “She is gentle! She—” “Stand up!” Miya screamed. Finn scrambled off the bed, terrified. “My Lady, I—” “Look away!” she hissed. “You offend me!” Finn turned his back, trembling. “I am sorry! I am so sorry! You are the most beautiful! Please, forgive me!”

Mia has faced a lot of cruelty growing up so she should get used to being treated poorly and being disrespected or embarrassed. Even if someone didn't embarrass her, she always ended up embarrassing herself. However, this particular act by Miram has Mia feeling so shocked and annoyed. The fact that she is weak and cannot match Miram's strength since Miram is a full blooded werewolf and even had the blood of an Alpha running through her veins, only made Mia feel even more miserable and annoyed.

Usually, she was boisterous, loudly jabbering on about our roles as witches. Being a witch herself, Sungul was always proud of the status we hold in the world. People would look upon us as if we were gods. Magic was a mystery that most couldn’t understand. It was chaotic, unknowing and seemingly unyielding, and yet to them we were able to control it with a slew of words or a twirl of a wand. To them, being able to wield magic as “flawlessly” as we can was a sign that we were blessed by the gods.
