The Rogue’s Luna

The Rogue’s Luna

Instead, a tall maze of steel and vines stood at the center, stretching into the trees beyond. A trial of instinct and survival. The rules were simple. Find your way out before sundown. No weapons. No help. The catch? You weren’t alone in the maze. Mara touched my arm before I stepped forward. “This isn’t about speed. It’s about endurance.” I nodded, tightening my ponytail. “I’ve got both.” She smiled. “Then go show them what a rogue can do.” I entered the maze last. The second I stepped in, the shadows swallowed everything. The air was thicker here, laced with magic or memory—I couldn’t tell.

Blood Moon Twin Lovers

Blood Moon Twin Lovers

The labyrinthine passages stretched before them like the intricate threads of a spider's web, promising doom to those who were careless or unlucky. As they first beheld the maze, they took the time to study its entrance. It was adorned with symbols and inscriptions, some of which hinted at the hidden mechanisms that allowed the walls to shift, the floors to open, and the blades to swing. Each trap was meticulously designed, each snare carefully hidden. The twins knew that their every step would be fraught with danger, that their every decision could mean life or death.

CHAINS OF ETERNITY

CHAINS OF ETERNITY

The reflection leaned close, whispering so low only Brann and Kael could hear. “But breaking… would feel so good.” The rune-wall convulsed again. The cracks widened further, jagged and greedy. Something else pressed against the breach from within, desperate to escape. Three doubles stood in the chamber, and a fourth was clawing its way free. Liora’s knees buckled, tears streaking her face. Her whisper trembled into the heavy silence: “If it’s me next… I don’t want to see it.” Kael clenched his fists. His chain burned hotter, a brand seared into his flesh. The labyrinth wasn’t finished. It wouldn’t stop until every one of them was broken. ☠️ End of Chapter 22

Catching the Moon (Chasing the Moon Book 2)

Then he ran outside a second time to measure again and came back in and yelled “Seven inches!!!!” They’d for sure be out of school the next day … so they decided to give up on studying for the night. They fell asleep… but unfortunately Emerson didn’t sleep very long. She woke up, barely opening her eyes… wondering what time it was. But she was frozen. In fear. She had her eyes barely opened .. but she could clearly see the glass doors leading outside. The lights from the deck above were shining and glistening the reflective snow. She saw the words Asher had traced out earlier. But that’s not what had her unable to move.

The REJECTED Wolf Turn Mighty Luna (Book 2)

The REJECTED Wolf Turn Mighty Luna (Book 2)

'Or maybe I can race you to the place', I said, afraid he would change his mind, when I saw how slowly he was walking. Racing was a sport we all liked. I was sure he would not resist it and I was right. We raced, transforming to our wolves and alternatively, overtaking each other till I got to my hideaway cottage. I fell on the grass signalling the end of the race and he fell down beside me, as we laughingly transformed back into our human forms. Then we looked at each other still laughing and the twinkle in his eyes made me imagine doing all forms of unprintable but pleasurable things to and with him. I recalled how his wolf looked so fierce and handsome and how giddy with desire I had grow

The Mafia Lord And His Forbidden Princess (Book 2)

The Mafia Lord And His Forbidden Princess (Book 2)

And the place where my guess landed was not at all pleasant. Before the men could grab either of us, an explosion boomed, the sound loud and harsh. The door burst open. I immediately pushed Rione away before the heavy wooden door could fall on him. I was about to shift away as well, but the shockwave of the explosion hit my body, throwing me back against the wall, my head violently hitting something hard. Powerless from the devastating blow, I fell on the floor, my vision slowly turning blurry to completely dark. I could hear my men yelling at the top of their lungs, but could not react as if an entire part of my brain had just shut off.

The apartment provided to Jasper was located in the far side of the vampire’s castle. The awe that he felt as the limousine drove high above the clouds up the winding mountainous road toward the enormous stone structure that looked as if it was floating in the sky still lingered. Had he not been so angry with his recently acquired benefactor, he might have been better able to appreciate the awesomeness of his new home and situation. As it was, he was having difficulty moving past what had happened to his assistant during their drive home.

Brown-Eyed Boy (Bk2)

Brown-Eyed Boy (Bk2)

***** It has been three days of no much happenings, since I came back to my cell. Mathew has been helping me move around, 'cause I am still using crutches. We've maintained the same routine; breakfast, Chores, lunch, recreation, training, dinner, and back to the cells again. I spent most of my recreation time in the Library. It's easier to dodge attention, lurking amongst bookshelves and blending with the elderly and sick, reading my life away. We were heading back to the cells, when a guard I hadn't met approached me. Martin, his uniform tag read.

When you have to wait for long periods of time to read 1 short chapter it takes away from the enjoyment of reading the book. By the time a new chapter comes out, I have forgotten the other short chapters.
Madeline Crist
If Jamie is killed off in this storyline then what's the point. She's the fantastic female character that you want to know what going to happen between her & Mason. She's been through enough, now this tragic scenario ... happens. Come on now give her a HAPPY ENDING.
