She carefully picked them up and made her way through a wooden door to the right, behind the sofa and just beside the kitchen. The room was small just like every other thing in the house, painted a mid temperature coral and cream. There was a small desk by the corner of the room, where another door stood. Her tiny bed sat authoritatively in the centre of the room, with a small dresser at the head of the bed and the desk to its right. The ceilings hung low, a small bulb attached to its centre. The bulb however was screwed on loosely to stop it from electrical short circuiting, seeing as the ceilings were occasionally drenched by the summer rain.

Well, since I’m here, I might as well explore my new digs. I open the right door and it’s a bedroom. The curtains are a creamy light peach color with sheer covering to let light in, but not let anyone see inside. There is a small sitting area with a cozy, plush chair, and ottoman. It’s cream with flowers in the same light peach color as the curtains. Draped over the chair is a wine-colored throw, bringing contrast to the otherwise serene color scheme. There’s a small table, perfect for a cup of tea and a book. It looks like it’s made of black walnut and a marble top. The bed looks like a king size bed. I’ve never slept in a bed that big. There were also pictures of the forest; some were of a misty early morning, some raining and others had beams of sunshine cutting through the canopy. The room was nearly as large as our game room, with a loveseat and two chairs in one corner. A dresser, wardrobe, and full-length mirror lined the far wall. The other corner had three bassinets, a changing table, and a little desk with some baby items on it. Walking over to the bassinets, I brushed the edge of them. Two had little unicorn mobiles hanging above them, whereas one had a wolf mobile.

He forced himself to plaster a smile on his face to ease their fear and accord them some relief. At the end of the long row of rooms on each side, Earnest finally stopped at a certain door and pushed it open, revealing the contents of the room. It was a small room with modest furnishings. A narrow 6-spring bed was tucked into a corner with a pillow and a neatly folded blanket, beside it, was a small square reading desk and a chair. At the opposite side of the wall, was a row of wooden shelves with scanty belongings properly outlined in an orderly fashion.

It was pretty dark inside with very little ventilation. But one thing was impressive that although being a small place it was spic and span with a small sitting on one corner of the room and a small TV attached to the wall. The center table was a very small one made of wood and a vase kept on the top, an old traditional vase that was chipped from one side but that part was hidden with the flower that was purposely bent to cover it. There was a small open kitchen on one corner of the room with complete facilities for minimal living.

I placed the gem on the table beside my bed. My dorm is not even the half size of my room but it is cozy. When you open the door, which opens to the left cause the door handle is located on the right part. You will see my living space, there's a sofa that can fit three people and a single sofa that's really comfortable. And on the right most corner of the room, the small kitchen is built in. There was a small stove set up and one of the cabinets is full of coals you can burn to cook your food. And there's a window behind the stove for ventilation. Not that I did much looking around last night but I notice somethings that I didn't take mind of previously. The room is kind of how I pictured it to be; the king-size bed pushed to the side of the room. A single table and chair in the corner of the room and a easel at the far end of the room. It isn't much but it's exactly how I imagined his room to be; bare and only containing the necessities. It's the same with his room at the mansion.

The room also included a big bookshelf with many books on it, some were colorful with pretty drawings on them. Finally it was time to address the elephant in the room, the white crib, that's his isn't it, I'll sleep in the big bed, he can sleep in this one. Along with it was a changing table, in my room the changing table was in the bathroom, this one matches with the crib. It's also safe to say this room was huge!! It had a sitting area with two couches, and a small kitchenette complete with a mini-fridge and a microwave, it looked more like a hotel suite. My old room was just a bedroom, and he also has a better view from here.

This is perfect for me though because the room only really has space for one. I have a queen-sized bed which I have up against the wall in the corner of the room to make a cosy little corner of pillows and happiness. The bedside table fits in on the other side and leaves just enough space for my little dresser where I keep my clothes, and the few cosmetic and jewellery items that I own. With the laptop out of the way, I quickly place my cheap, flip phone on to charge (something I only own so work can contact me. Or Maggie on occasion) then I collapse into my bed and bury myself under the piles of blankets.

Patty’s is at the end. Maddie’s bedroom is the smallest, but still bigger than our entire previous apartment. There is a full-size bed on the far wall with a wrought iron frame, complete with scrolling headboard, and footboard. It is dressed in white bedding and topped with numerous pink and purple pillows. Her dresser is a side by side in white with hand painted blooming flowers across the front and sides and she has a matching nightstand with a pink lamp. The floor rug has a bright and busy abstract floral design in pink, purple, teal and orange.
