“Here you go, its tuna fish salad.”
“Thanks, Mel. I appreciate that you’re sharing this with me,” he told her.
“I hope you enjoy it at least.”
“It’s relaxing and quiet, not two things I’ve often enjoyed,” he admitted. “Even if it’s sadistic.”
She smiled. “Good. Oh, and I wanted to share something else with you.”
“Oh?” He doubted she meant where his mind went.
Mel’s smile grew and she shook her head. “Here.” to his surprise Mel handed him a small stack of papers and not just any papers, but the papers from her journal. “I appreciate everything you’ve done so I thought if you still wanted you could read them.”
