Maya's smile faltered for a moment as she looked at Mel's expression, sensing that something was off. "Is everything okay, Mel?" she asked. Mel quickly composed herself, putting on a bright smile once again. "Yeah, everything is fine. I'm just happy to see you feeling better," she said. Maya smiled, feeling relieved. "I am feeling better. Thank you for everything" she said, squeezing Mel's hand.

Smirking, he asked, “Want to have a quickie?” “No, I woke you up because it’s almost time for the attack,” he said. He’d love to have another round, but the clan mattered right now, and he needed a break. Melnais sighed and kissed him on the cheek. “What are you going to do while I am gone?”
