It gave him a more bad-boy vibe. I trailed my eyes until they reached his face, only for me to realize that he was staring at me. He winked when our eyes locked.

Matt spat out. "Matt." Roxy and I both yelled. "What?" He shrugged. "Excuse us ladies before Matt says anything else embarrassing. But Melia I'd love a dance before the nights over." Dean gave me his world class smile. "Sure." I smiled tugged at my lips as they walked off. "Sure? Seriously Mia?" Roxy had her hands on her hips. "I didn't know what to say after Matt said eye fuck. Who even says that?" I gave her a disgusted look.

I said as I crossed my arms in front of my chest. "I love mint choco." He said and I stopped. "Disgusting!" I hissed and he laughed. "Why is that disgusting? It's good." "I feel like brushing my teeth when I eat that flavour." I shook my head. "Do you have a pet?" He asked. "I have a black labrador at home. How about you?" "Really? I have a labrador too!" He said and I turned to him completely surprised. "Millie.. her name." "Blue.. his name." I turned to him and looked at him straight into his eyes.

I spluttered. He picked up a stone and threw it into the lake, watching it bounce. "You don't think I know that? I've waited since I was eighteen to find her." He chuckled humorlessly, "It's been seven years. Favi and Josh found out they were mates the second she turned eighteen and Belinda and Luke met and mated two years after Belinda had turned eighteen. I've waited seven years for my mate and yet...nothing." I could feel my head spinning. I didn't know Jayson had wanted to find his mate so desperately. Anxious, I subconsciously fiddled with my mother's necklace.

She grinned and all the anger in me evaporated. "Why the hell does her smile affects me" I thought frowning. "Good day sir" the ice cream vendor greeted me and I nodded "how much ice cream did she consumed" I asked and his next word shock to me, well not that I'm too shocked because I expected it after she ate five plates of pasta and three cans of Coca-Cola.
