Despite being popular and all, we are still girls and human beings so all of us were a part of at least one fandom. Looking at our username, you could probably guess which fandom. Speaking of Norma, she was the one texting just now.

I see Maddy typing something into my phone before she hands it back. I see that she’s added her number and texted herself. I smile and then make a group text chat. I see Maddy typing something and then get a notification saying: “Maddy has changed the group name to: Bitches <3.” I let out a laugh before turning around to walk away. I shout, “See you tomorrow bitches!” over my shoulder. I find myself grinning the whole way home.

It was from the group chat she had joined, and the messages quickly filled her screen. The group discussed many things, like praising SUN's incredible moves. They also debated which team would win tomorrow's championship. They discussed every little detail. Of course, there were also messages about settling the score with Blue Mushroom. The group members interacted by sharing online news. They shared funny screenshots to create an engaging discussion. What made everyone react with amusement were Blue Mushroom's posts. His team hadn't competed in the semi-finals at the time. Yet, he boldly tweeted about defeating CalX tomorrow and winning the finals.

"Let me check the school group chat." I unlocked the screen, opening the app. The university group chat was usually a chaotic mess of hundreds of unread messages, people arguing about assignments, sharing stupid memes, or gossiping about campus drama. My thumb scrolled rapidly through the wall of text, my eyes scanning past the old messages from yesterday, searching for any mention of Noah’s name or a funeral service date.
