The Devil's Weakness

The Devil's Weakness

It carried so much history and memories, like the stains of coffee from the first time she and her mum went to a burger hut. Or the shaky seat belt that made funny noises whenever she tried to use it, or how she and her mum would dance to the old cassette music from the late 90's. It was their own bonding time and she hated how much it hung around her even after her death. She was supposed to move on but no one is teaching her how to.

Separate Fates: Hidden Silver Wolf With Her Dreams

Emma: Year: 2002 As memories are known to be lost throughout the process of growth, we still may have those special ones that just stick. Wild Embers

Wild Embers

Troubled in the 80’s What can I say about the 80’s. Many remember this time as the decade of hair scrunchies, neon colors, and Aqua Net hair spray. I have different memories of this time. While many of the girls in my elementary school had their hair crimped and walked around with Lisa Frank accessories, I had crooked uncombed hair and a pencil. Now I’m not saying that I was the only poor kid in my schools, at most of them there were plenty of us. In total, I went to six different elementary schools. Most of them I entered in the middle of the year. Meaning I was always the “new student” and had to find friends when everybody already had their friend groups. I did manage to find a neighborho

When Memories Return

When Memories Return

"You this small girl…" "Mum, warn your daughter!" Noelle looked at their mother like she would cry. "I am no longer a small girl. I am an adult. I celebrated my nineteenth birthday already." Noelle defended herself. Tasha moved her head closer to Noelle, and let her mouth reach Noelle's ear. "No matter how old you are, you will forever be a small girl to me." Tasha declared, whispering. "Why?" Noelle asked. "Because I love you." Tasha smiled, and Noelle smiled back at her.

Alpha Atlas

Alpha Atlas

These strange, foreign memories were all I had left of her. The doorbell rang, a loud chime echoing throughout the house. Nine-year-old me groaned, pausing the movie for what felt like the hundredth time. Mom gave me a wry grin before chucking a piece of popcorn my way. My high-pitched giggle rang out, and I flashed a smile at my Mom. "We're never going to get through the movie!" Nine-year-old me groaned, flopping back on the couch with a huff.

I normally don't write comments but I need to tell you that I wait everyday for more chapters. your writing makes me feel like I'm the one experiencing this first hand and I'm always begging for more. so beautifully written and I love every minute of it. if I could I'd give this book a million stars
Erin Sophia Lockman
This book was slow at first and filled with a lot of pain, but I find myself being a sucker for the wounded girl who becomes a strong, badass fighter. While I'm still clamoring for more of the raw, love/hate relationship in this book, I am enjoying the determination of the strong female protagonist.

Remember me naked

Remember me naked

Four months I have been waiting for this call, four months where each day has borne the weight of questions too heavy to be ignored, where every smile exchanged with Alexandre, every glance from Lucas, every tender word from my parents has been like a bandage on old wounds, fragile yet alive. I close my eyes for a moment and remember, despite myself, that day that shaped my fear: July 20, twenty years ago, when I was ripped away from everything I knew, thrown into a cold and cruel world, taken in by a poor and violent family, where every day was a struggle not to disappear, not to let the shadow win. Those memories have never left me; sometimes, they surface unannounced, and I see that terri

I Lost My Memory After 100 Rejections

I Lost My Memory After 100 Rejections

If this had been me pre-memory loss, I would have stormed out in anger after hearing such insulting words. Yet now, having forgotten everything about Jaden and feeling no love for him, I naturally would not pay attention to those mocking glances. However, appearances still mattered. I was still Jaden's fiancée, and there were certain social situations I had to handle. I moved through the crowd with him, exchanging empty pleasantries and drinking glass after glass of wine. Soon, I became dizzy from the alcohol as I was unable to handle it well. I found a quiet spot to rest. I had just sat down when I saw Lillian holding a blue medicine bottle and shaking pills into her mouth.

I forced back the tears in my eyes and the vomit rising in my throat. ‘It’s fine,’ I told myself quietly. ‘With that, all 99 coupons have been used up. ‘I’m leaving you for good, Leonard.’

Fragrance of Memories

Fragrance of Memories

Antoine watched Camille, his eyes filled with concern and curiosity. Camille’s emotions surged, and tears began to roll down her cheeks, salty and bittersweet. How long had it been since she last remembered the scent of her mother’s lily of the valley? How long had it been since she felt the vibrant essence of fragrance, the subtle bond between scent and memory? 'Muse' didn’t just analyze the scent—it awakened a corner of her mind she thought lost forever. It allowed her to 'see' images again, to 'hear' sounds, and to feel the delicate stirrings of emotions she believed had disappeared for good.
