There was a bedside table next to her with a glass of water and a bucket next to the bed. "Hello," her voice came out in a cracked whisper. "Hello," she said even louder. "Is anyone there!? Can anyone hear me!? Please. I need help!" she said as she started to cry. This was real, and she had no memory of how this happened. How long had she been here now. Did she wake up prior to this and do the same thing? She looked down at her ankle, which burned the most. It was raw, and it looked like burnt flesh all around. She felt the metal around her ankle, and it burned to the touch. She was being captive with silver. Is that what was making her so weak?

I was confused by the text he sent as I read it again. Wayne: Thank you again for saving my daughter last night. She was much calmer and we spoke to her for a while, but she didn't seem to remember you when your name came up. I know this might be hard but considering what she has been through it would be best if you give her a couple of days to recover. I can’t tell for sure how long it will take for the memories to come back. I hope you understand. Wayne

The doctor stated confidently. A sentence came into my mind that had me looking up at the doctor with wide eyes. "I know how to open up a door. You have to turn the door handle." I stated confidently. That's why the door handle giggled, it needed to be turned. "It's a door knob sweet heart. Not a handle." My father stated as he pressed his lips together. "Turn the door knob." I whispered as the words just came to me. "I can remember things." I rushed out with a smile. If they told me the words I would remember. They were inside my head. I could only assume it would take time for my memories to come back.

"If I’m still alive, then it can’t be that bad!” Aunt laughed and said, "Summer, you're going to live a very long life!" The surgery had gone really well. The doctor said I might lose some memories, but I still recognized everyone I had seen so far. Even though I sometimes felt like I had forgotten some things, I did not really want to remember them anyway. In fact, I thought forgetting might make me even happier. Once I was out of danger, I moved to a regular room. With Aunt looking after me, I started feeling better really fast.
