Memories

Memories

The more I try to remember, the more I forget, and the aches in my head got even worse every time I try. I could overhear Aiden telling the doctor, I can't remember anything, I wasn't much interested in their conversation, it was obvious I lost my memory,I don't even know who I am. "What is his name Aiden?" I asked. "He doesn't have a name yet,we wanted you to give him one" he said, walking towards me as the doctor and nurse took their leave. "He is so handsome," I said. "What about me mama?" Raymond asked. "Oh Ray,you are also handsome" I chuckled.

The Night Before I Knew Him

The Night Before I Knew Him

And now he wakes up after a week, a whole week, and he doesn’t remember me. "Hey, June. Are you okay?" Ted’s voice pulls me back as he rolls softly into the hallway. I pace, eyes darting to the white ceiling, hands trembling. "I’m not okay, Ted. I… I don’t understand. How can this be real? How can he forget just me?" Ted rolls closer, matching my frantic pace as best as he can in his wheelchair. "June… listen. We don’t know that yet. The thing is called selective memory loss. I didn’t—"

Marked by Moon Fire

Marked by Moon Fire

“But her mind …. It's been through great distress. It’s possible she has suffered a loss of memory, brought on by fear or pain so deep that her mind shut it away.” “Loss of memory?” Nyssa repeated, her brow furrowing. “So, she doesn’t remember anything?” Mara nodded slowly. “Not that, just a few. She doesn’t seem to remember the time that has passed since. Sometimes, when a person experiences prolonged trauma, their mind buries it so completely that it’s as if it never happened. She may not even recognize the present.” Lucien stared at her in disbelief. “You’re saying she’s forgotten… years?”

"Why? The memoir will still matter if you take breaks." "Because something's wrong, Hope. I can feel it." "What do you mean wrong?" "My memory. I forgot Marcus's name yesterday. Just blanked on it completely. It took me twenty minutes to remember." Hope's face went pale. "How often is this happening?" "More and more. Last week I couldn't remember where I was for a few minutes. I was in my own apartment, and I didn't recognize it." "Mom, we need to see a doctor."

What Separates Me and You

What Separates Me and You

She contemplated, but how could she know what she had forgotten when it was already not part of her memory? Dr. Halliday said, "I've been researching your condition lately. The onset symptom of your condition is absent-mindedness, which means you'll easily forget recent events. However, it won't cause you too much inconvenience because you'll eventually recall those memories. One day, if you encounter a stranger that recognizes you but not you of him, that may indicate your condition has worsened. Therefore, you must take your medication consistently. It would be best if the above scenario never happened; it's not as severe if you only forget things and not people." Josephine nodded in ackno

Rayna Pelkonen
This is one of the saddest female leads ever. It keeps getting worse for the FL. The plot is unclear. The reason for him being with both women and his feelings are unclear. It’s entertaining but not very satisfying. Like to know what his feelings are towards them and hope things get better for FL.

Book was a page turner until I got to the end and then had to start reading 1 a day. Some closure to MsJenkins and divorce but not fully closed. No real character development and Josie is getting worse. I will keep reading for now but may be jumping ship soon if Josies situation doesn’t get better.

The Billionaire's Caregiver

The Billionaire's Caregiver

“Leah, it’s me. Your mother.” Leah shook her head. “I don’t remember you. I don’t remember any of you.” Mama clamped a hand over her mouth, a sob breaking through. The doctor cleared his throat. “I was just about to explain. Your daughter suffered a head injury during the accident. She has retrograde amnesia. It means she has lost memories from before the accident.” Noah’s hands curled into fists. “How long will this last?” The doctor sighed. “It varies. Sometimes memories return in days or weeks. Sometimes… never.”

Blind Date With Mr Arrogant

Blind Date With Mr Arrogant

He was a stranger to her now. After examining her, the doctor placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. “It's common for individuals with memory loss to not recognize loved ones. It will take time, patience, and supportive experiences for her memories to come back. In the meantime, it's crucial that she focuses on her physical healing and gets plenty of rest. Physically, she is stable. The fractures will need time to heal, but nothing too serious. However, her memory loss is a cause for concern. We will need to monitor her closely and see if it improves over time.”

The Shotgun Marriage: She's the Apple of His Eye

The Shotgun Marriage: She's the Apple of His Eye

Her stomach was as big as a watermelon. Noah and Lucy exited the consultation room and went to the neurology department. The doctor ran a series of tests on Lucy and said, "Her head has suffered a massive impact, causing a blood clot at the back of her brain that had applied pressure onto her nerve. This is the cause of her memory loss." Noah asked, "Doctor, how long will she take to recover?" Lucy looked at the doctor expectantly. The doctor said, "It's hard to tell. She might regain her memory tomorrow or might never remember anything. You must be her husband. Bring her to familiar places. Perhaps seeing familiar events or people would trigger her memory."

This book is one of a kind…well written full of suspense and thrill. Not a floppy romance story where the leading character always festured as an underdog, no backbone…at least Liliana is portrayed with integrity and humbleness .........

I CANNOT RATE THIS BOOK YET. I HAVE TO READ UNTIL THE MIDDLE OF IT. I HOPE IT WILL NOT REACH A THOUSAND CHAPTERS LIKE THE OTHERS THAT I'VE STARTED READING AND EVENTUALLY I STOPPED BECAUSE OF THE SCHEMES AND TWISTS WHICH DRAGGED THE STORY THAT MAKE IT BORING.
