“Almost.” Meredith sighed. Then she wondered if this was day one what else were they going to do. Whatever it was, she needed a treadmill pronto. While she was contemplating this Brayden was watching her expressions for the Meredith he had read on paper and met in the elevator and had dinner with and married. “What are you thinking?” They had made a vow to be honest to each other to make the Death Contract work. But neither of them really had anything to hide from the other. “That I need to get on a treadmill,” Meredith responded looking out her window. She had her elbow up against the side and her left hand propping up her with her right resting on the seat beside her.

When Addie comes back in, she gives me a look. "Please Tee, don't ask. It's my story to tell, but right now I don't have the words." I nod, giving her a smile as I start shredding the papers again. The morning air was crisp as Ethan and Isabelle made their way out of Anderson Corp’s towering building.
