This introduction note was written to advise you to read A Trip To Your Heart first before reading this one since this is a Duology. A Trip To Remember is A Trip To Your Heart's sequel. The latter is still unedited, so, I apologize for errors that you will encounter upon reading. I can’t wait to see where I’m going to be staying. “Hi Ms.Sinclair, I’m Jefferson. I’ll be your driver for the rest of your trip.” Jefferson opens the door for me and grabs my luggage and begins loading my things into the truck. It doesn’t take him long to finish putting the bags away and start up the engine. In seconds we are propelled forward and we’re on our way to our next destination. After an hour we pull up to what has to be the most luxurious beach house I’ve ever seen in my life. It takes a minute for me to fully take in the view. I’m pulled out of my trance by Jefferson opening the door for me.

"We're the Sullivans, and one of us might marry Summer someday. You’d better watch out, or you might lose your jobs!" I heard him and laughed, but I was really mad. "Acting all high and mighty in front of my hospital room? I don't even know you guys. Why would I marry any one of you?" Nelson ran up to me, trying to grab my hand, but I pulled away. His eyes were red, as if he had been crying a lot. "Summer, I talked to the doctor. He said you might have lost your memory because of the surgery. "It's okay. If you forgot us, we'll make new, happy memories together. It'll be our way of making things right, okay?"

Grandpa, Andre, we got the bottle, said Adam and Hannah putting their hands up. Here's the small rolled paper inside the bottle. There's something written in here. She read, "It goes up and never comes down" What? Elevator? said Adam unsure of it Escalator? asked Andre with doubt. Escalator can get us up and it can also get us down.. as well as stairs and elevators. I don't think one of those is the answer, said the old man. Adam and Andre looked up and they saw the capital letters of the experiment room's label glowing and blinking "Anderson's Gate Experiment"

“Some goons kidnapped George while he was playing with me. I was scared and ran away, calling my dad. But you followed them foolishly, and the kidnappers took you away as well. The kidnappers demanded money. George’s father contacted the cops and…” Megan's voice becomes distant, almost fading into the background, as the floodgates of my memories burst open. The disjointed fragments and echoing whispers suddenly converge, forming a vivid, heart-wrenching tableau of the past. My mind becomes a canvas painted with the scenes of that long-forgotten trip. I watch, as if from a distance, the younger version of myself – a child filled with innocence and boundless curiosity. The vibrant laughter of

“But since you are here let me give you a tour.” Trish was crying nonstop as her memory started to come back. All the pain that she felt when she thought Liam died. The day that she helped the others save Steven. The day she lost her memory, the memories that she chose to be buried. The things that she saw happening at the mansion triggered the memories.

Michelle sighed, "Remember that summer when we went on that road trip?." Maya added, "Ah, good times. That was the trip where we discovered our shared love for cheesy roadside diners and questionable karaoke performances." I smiled, reminiscing about the carefree days of the past. "Those were some of the best moments. It's amazing how time flies."

"Then… well, then we remember. We’ll walk those streets, visit our old haunts. Remember that little jazz club downtown? Or the art gallery where we spent hours, pretending we knew what we were talking about?" He continued, his voice weaving a tapestry of shared memories. "Remember that hot dog stand outside Central Park where we always got extra mustard? Or the bench by the pond where we used to watch the ducks and plan our outlandish futures? We'll revisit them all, Adrian. Every single cherished moment we tucked away in this city, we'll pull it out and dust it off."

The message seemed to mock me, leaving me silenced and suffering. As I lay on the couch, memories of the good times with Ava came flooding back, a bittersweet reminder of what we once had. My mind wandered through the highlights of our relationship, the laughter, the adventures, the quiet moments of connection. The nostalgia was overwhelming, a painful longing for what could never be again.
