Merlin Academy Descendants Novels & Stories

“When Milvan had the vision of you conceiving the successor to the throne, they abandoned the research. But, they did learn enough to know that you and Etheria would possess the same powers since you simultaneously shared a womb.” Mitzie slowly nodded her head as she turned to face Alford. “Do you have any powers? You’re of royal lineage.” “All royal descendants have some powers. They are limited, however, as full powers are only bestowed upon the direct heirs to a throne. With my great-great grandmother being third in the line of succession, our lineage can only perform basics like mind link abilities and some tele….”

It was clear he wanted to keep me tethered to him, even from a distance. "Moonbane and Riddle," Émeric mused, leaning back in his chair. "Two families with a history as old as magic itself. I find it curious that both you and Ambrosius ended up here, at the same academy, at the same time." I glanced up from my book, meeting his gaze. Émeric’s dark eyes were always filled with questions, and I could tell he was fishing for something. "Curious, maybe," I replied, feigning indifference. "But not entirely unexpected. Loisage Academy is the place for those with ancient bloodlines. It’s natural we’d both end up here."

Decan asks. "Yes." I squeeze my eyes shut briefly. "My aunt hid my magic, but the day my parents died, I locked away almost all of it until the vamps attacked me and my friends at school." "Ones from this academy?" She pales. "No, no. They were working for my uncle to flesh me out. Though now that I know Amelia had magic too, he could've been looking for her as well since he hunted magic to devour." "You are a very special young woman." Decan smiles. "Not only as a witch, but a medium as well to conjure and speak with ghosts."

He looked away toward the dais where the High Oracle, an ancient woman with cataract-clouded eyes, stood beside Bianca, who knelt before the slumped, dying queen on her throne. “Brothers and sisters of Camelot,” Kael’s voice carried across the hall. “We stand at the edge of a cliff. To the west, the Lycan King Darius gathers his forces. His shadow already touches our borders, and war is no longer a rumor.” A ripple of fear went through the crowd. "To protect this pack," Kael continued, "I need to be strong. And my pack needs a strong queen. Tonight, I choose my Luna.” I took a step forward, my heart hammering in my chest. Choose us. We can be strong together.

When I didn't utter a word, she looked away from me, a full-blown grin tugging at her lips. “Tell me something: what do you know about the Lunar Throne?” She suddenly asked, and I stiffened. “It’s the original werewolf royalty. The true heirs are direct descendants of the moon goddess. Their lineage was wiped out several decades ago because people feared them and the power they hold,” I replied. She sighed. “I’ve been going round and round in circles, unable to discover anything tangible. It’s been months, yet I’ve come up with nothing. I can’t believe I came to the academy just because of some stupid note,” she muttered.

Nara then asked Merlin why he wouldn’t fight Zephyr, and Merlin said that Zephyr’s villainy is his fault. According to Merlin, Zephyr was his first and last student. He blamed himself for not seeing the evil in his heart. If he did, he could’ve saved our parents and found a worthy successor of his destiny. We bombarded him questions as to what exactly happened to make someone so evil, but he ignored them. Donatello saw that he wasn’t comfortable talking about it, and instead asked him about his successor. “My successor,” Merlin said, “must be a powerful sorcerer who is completely pure of heart.”

I lunged forward, but two guards were suddenly at my sides, gripping my arms. “Morgan!” I roared, straining against them. “What is this?! What are you doing?!” Morgan stood on her throne, all silk and wickedness. Her eyes burned. “I’m teaching you,” she said softly, “what it feels like to lose everything.” Her voice rang out once more, sharp and commanding. “Standing before you today is Raven. Or, according to the prophecy… the last descendant of Selene.” A hush fell over the crowd, the weight of those words wrapping around them like chains.

There are three duke descendents gathered here. Seemed like In Ha hadn't read their characters around Lilian. She also just found out the status of their nobles who passed this test. Saint Amora was indeed the best academy in the whole of the empire, no wonder all the descendants of important figures were study there. Abbott and Hunt were The Duke's house that located far at the end north and east. "Lilian Lesnerg." Lilian added inwardly, 'I hope we don't get in touch further in the future.'

Scarlet looked at me as if trying to see if I'd understood her. I nodded. "I'll do that. What is the information you found if Merlin is actually Fae?" She smiled. "He would be of the Dark Fae. Most specifically the Outcasted Horde." She looked over my shoulder. "Arasne, if you could explain in simple terms. We do have more to discuss."

he said. The sphere brightened, and an image began to form, two young women standing side by side in their academy robes. One had moonlight hair and calm eyes full of curiosity. The other’s gaze burned like fire behind her sharp smile. “Selene Emberlain,” the Headmaster said quietly, “and Melinda D’Carys, your mother’s dearest friend, and her greatest rival.” Seraphine watched, her pulse quickening. “Melinda was born from the same bloodline as Selene, the Emberlain lineage. Their ancestors were one of the oldest in Aetherborn, a family tied to the AetherCurrents themselves. Both girls showed extraordinary talent from childhood, but there was always one difference.”
