Morgana laughed…low, amused, the sound slithering down my spine.
“Oh, sweet child,” she said, patting my cheek again like I was a slow-witted pup. “Worry about keeping yourself in shape, not me. These old bones of yours are starting to sag in all the wrong places. As for blending in…” She stepped back, smoothed the plain servant’s dress she wore, and gave a little twirl that made the fabric swirl innocently. “I have the perfect cover.”
