"Ah, that book holds a tale worth unraveling," he said, his voice tinged with a hint of mystery. "Legend has it that it contains the lost history of Emeridia, filled with forgotten secrets and untold adventures. Many have sought its pages, but only a few have dared to venture deep into its mysteries." Aric and Kaida exchanged a glance, their curiosity intensifying. They were drawn to the idea of unearthing the hidden history of their beloved city, of delving into the untold stories that had shaped Emeridia's destiny.

- I told him. He nodded and pulled several books out from one of the stacks and set them in front of me. I opened the top book and ran my fingers over the runes in the title. It was beautifully written as if each word was drawn with love and attention to detail. Now that I looked at it, it reminded me of a combination of Norse and Old English. Jax asked when he finally entered the room. We both took turns giving Jax the rundown of our meeting. He like me was just as surprised at the variety of supernatural species that lived within Dublin. Half of them I never even knew were real, like the Merrow. Merrows are what the normies call a mermaid, except in cartoons they depict them as beautiful and innocent little women with a love for collecting shiny things. Well, Ariel aint got shit on a real Merrow, that’s for sure. Merrows are beautiful both in the sea and on dry land but they are also known for being quite vicious when they feel cornered or when someone tries to stake claim to something that is theirs.

The new page had the topic of Mermaid. ‘Damn it!’, I cursed at my own fate.
