I could change my features a little, bleach my hair and recolor it and highlight my face differently with makeup, but I didn’t think it would be enough. I needed a foolproof way to interact with him without him knowing. Is it themed? Themed? Yeah, like a masquerade or something? A few moments passed, but as I expected, he replied with a firework emoji and excitement. That sounds fun! Yes, I’ll make sure everyone knows. It’ll be great. I know the crowd will like it. I grinned and sent a list of things I would need: beach, some colored dye, and a mask. I checked my closet searching for something that would do for a costume when I found a slinky indigo cocktail dress with a black lace overlay.

The dress was quite high above my knees and I was grateful for the fishnet stocking I wore. But what was the highlight of the look was the purple mask with a black feather on it. Hera said that some people there opted for masks and it was a safer option since my identity wouldn’t be revealed completely. I accessorized the look with a pair of small silver earrings, a black choker, and bold red lipstick. “If that asshole doesn’t fall to your knees after this, I am changing my name to Marionette,” Mia said and Hera and I both gave her a strange look. “What? It's a bad name.” She explained and I sighed.

She was distinguishable from the males on the battlefield by her long, flowing blond mane. Miah was a well-known Fae Warrior from the Grassland War who earned the title of Second Prophecy Coin Keeper, gifted in the spiritual realm of the afterlife. Her hairstyle had bleached to a lighter shade of gold, not in streaks, leaving warm caramels in-between against her honeyed skin. She took up arms and armor and fought in a battle alongside men during the war without a single rest.

One was a deep maroon, another a deep blue and the last was black. “Wow those colours are really dark,” said Mia Yes, they are suitable for a queen and they reflect your true warrior abilities. I wanted your dresses to give you a edge of danger but if they are too dark we can lighten them with chiffon layers, beading and embroidery.” “They are perfect,” said Jay “these are exactly what you need to wear before the Mercern Ring, they convey power and an edge of danger. You have done a perfect job Evie and Skyler” Evie was still looking at Mia for her reaction

But the the colors beside black are tastefully mixed into the black, so that the natural black colors don't overpower the added hues. Besides that though, Machiv still has the school uniform, broken down by him with the sleeves rolled up and the tie missing, and the black gloves covering his arms of course. Keito on the other hand, seems to have been inspired by the Halloween spirit though, since he's got some colorful bandages under his usual black mask, and they give color to him that's not always present. "Hi," says Machiv, sitting down at the lunch table, the colorful points in his hair moving as he does, "very festive meals."

Cosplay Theme: The Dark Swordsman. "You look cool," Harper laughed. She was dressed as a Cyber-Valkyrie (silver armor, neon wings). It hid her real weapons perfectly. "Blend in, Sebastian. Everyone here is wearing a costume. If we dress like normal civilians, the facial recognition will flag us instantly. The algorithms ignore 'fictional characters'." Jack walked behind them. He refused to wear a costume. Instead, he was carrying a massive, life-sized plushie of a Pikachu-like creature. "It shields my heat signature," Jack grumbled, hugging the yellow monstrosity. "Don't ask."

"We need to get you out of here... now, there's going to be a bloody war tonight believe me Bella, and I need to make sure you're safe. We got made security, the whole squad is here, Aunt Jessie's people, Diego's grandfather's people, Miss Amanda's people, over 300 Mafians globally donated their man for this war,Mario doesn't know what's coming for him tonight", he said. "People are coming coming out to rescue me?", I whispered almost crying. "Miss Bella, you're a living legend , people would die to save you", he said. I smiled, "Thank you ", I whispered. "Great, now let's go ", he said and held my hands.

Considering how much Hector has told me about Max being so ambitious about being Alpha, Max looked very upset and unenthusiastic about everything. He was dressed in loose white sleeves and pants with a turquoise shawl tied around his neck and his hair combed so thoroughly that his curls became so evident. It was weird how I never noticed his curls at all. Standing behind him was Hector, he dressed in the same manner but he lacked the turquoise touches on his sleeves like Max did. Standing beside each other they could pass as brothers because they both had curly, thick, dark hair but aside from that…yeah there was no resemblance. Murray was also there too and also dressed like Hector.
