River witch
A bird falls mid-flight, hollow as if drained from the inside.
Kojo tries to reconnect, but Mira flinches at touch.
She begins to write everything down obsessively — journals, drawings, names she doesn’t remember learning.
One evening, she looks up at the river and sees her own face in it — not her reflection, but her — standing in the water, smiling.
