ADY It's almost midnight, but our town and maybe even other places still don't have power. Even though the storm was terrible, Granny's radio, which must have been around my age and ran on batteries, was still working while we watched the news. The storm has completely flooded many locations, making them unreachable. The storm didn't bring wind, but it did bring water and rain that didn't stop for 9 hours. I was on the bed, looking at the candle on the table next to me.

Said the maiden. The maiden cut the call then went to her bed to lay down and rest for a while as she wait. She must have fallen asleep because she was woken up by her ringing phone, she checked the time on the watch hanging on the wall and saw that it was past midnight. She answered the call. “Switch them off now!” said the caller before she could say anything. “I will call back when its done.” Answered the maiden then cut the call.

Tomorrow night I walk into my brother’s house on Jackson Reeves' arm and a story locked and loaded. Tomorrow night the clock strikes midnight on the strangest, most promising year of my life. I fall asleep with the kids’ menu on my nightstand, and a smile I can’t wipe off. We’ve got this.

Adora helplessly argued. "Is that so? Then she is welcome to do her worst!" Further attempts to convince Edwardo to release the siren were futile.
