A wave of dizziness hits me, I don’t stop staring at the horror show until my lashes flutter down and darkness swallows me. /END OF FLASHBACK/ “Mom, can you stop singing? This isn’t exactly the mood.” Alexis, my cousin, reprimands her mother. I block their conversation out. Focusing on the passing trees and houses. It rarely rains here, but when it does, it comes like a full thunderstorm. This time, the sky is as clear as day, but the rain is pouring heavily. There are no signs of lightening, or even the booms of thunder. It's usually not this peculiar, but then again, so is everything about my little cursed town.

Something is wrong. She dashed towards the door and yanked it open. She stepped out and paused. Outside was a mess. Everyone were crying and running at all directions. Blood was splattering everywhere, and fresh bones scattered on the ground. The ground itself was red, full of blood like a river. Everyone were crying yet the cries were inaudible. Tears smeared on their faces but Mira can't hear any single sound. It's like the world felt silent, muting the sound of horror.

Harsh white light flooded the room, leaving me momentarily blinded. "Ah fuck! Bitch give a warning before you do that!" I trained my eyes on her, my roommate as she finally sat on her bed. She was the exact opposite of me, in every sense. Her jet back hair was thrown up in two messy buns, with a few strands framing her face. She had make up on, and even her make up was a mess, her cherry red lipstick was smeared and her mascara was all...she was a mess, I have no idea how else to put it. A quick glance at my clock showed me it was a little past midnight, and it looked to me like she was from somewhere, no one stayed in school till after midnight and comes back looking so disheveled.

Red has become the most common color in this house because it is almost every day we get to see blood here. Mira ran to me with tears, I walked past her and went to squat in front of Lance. Checking his pulse, I sighed, “He's alive, just passed out” I announced and I heard a lot of them sigh in relief. Kira on the other hand chuckled, “Of course, I didn't kill him. But I would have if not for the beautiful art piece I crafted on his arm. Isn't it lovely?” She giggled and as if under the control of a demon spirit, she quickly changed demeanor,

MIKA: You cannot possibly....that magic will kill you with the poison in you LOGAN: Copy Mika (A copy of Mika appeared beside him and he coughs blood) Kill her MIKA COPY: Yes sir....Chain sword (she summoned Mika's chain sword which was a chain with sharp blade at the end then she cut off Mika's head, disappearing immediately Mika died)

It looked as if the sky were bleeding. A layer of transparent mist appeared around Ding Hao, blocking all the blood rain. No raindrops had fallen on his body. Ding Hao was extremely amazed. He slowly reached out his hand, and the raindrops fell on his palm. It seemed that there was a pool of crystal blood on his palm. The blood rain contained a strong bloody smell. The bloody smell that Ding Hao had smelled before was exactly the same as this one. Flash! A streak of crimson lightning split the void. Half of the sky was lit up in an instant.

Taking a deep long breath, I start to walk towards this person, but as soon as I do, the rain starts to fall harder, turning into blood that pours down in torrents, drenching me completely. I press on still, determined, and just as I'm about to see the face of the person, the rain turns into a crimson downpour, covering my eyes in a thick layer of blood. It feels warm and sticky against my skin, and I could feel it weighing heavily on my stomach particularly. I try to scream, but no sound comes out of my mouth. And then, everything goes black.

“My name is Rain.” My heart dropped, and all color drained from my face. “Rain--- Blood?!” I asked in utter disbelief. THIS man was the infamous Rain Blood. The insane rogue that delighted in the gore and pain of pack mate and enemy alike?! He nodded, making a shiver of fear travel down my spine. “What do you want with me?” I asked, my voice suddenly hoarse. The man was notorious for messing with his enemies' heads – before ripping them to shreds, that is. There couldn’t be a single good reason for him to keep me alive.

Lucia stopped when the next moment, the entire place was filled with mist and I could not see anything aside from the white mist blocking my eyesight from seeing my surroundings. "Lucia? Are you still there? Orion?" I panicked. I haven't read about River of Flames much and I'm afraid that we would just suddenly be poisoned by this mist or there is something that will suddenly swallow us whole while we stood there. "I'm here, Ophelia. I'm fine. It's just, I'm a little uncomfortable that I can't see anything. This mist is getting to my nerves," I heard Lucia. "Orion?" I called but no one answered. So I talked to Raja in my mind.

We all knew we had entered a new era, and for the first time, we were truly the Blood Moon Pack. *This is the end of Book 1 of Blood and Moon. Book 2 Love and War.
