"An audition?!" I laughed, shaking my head violently, looking at his impossibly smug face. "Are you serious right now? You're going to audition for a seven-year-old child? What's your resume, Tyson? 'Excellent at breaking bones, threatens to murder people before breakfast, and buys oversized trucks'?"
Tyson didn't get offended. If anything, seeing the bright, genuine laughter light up my face made his smug smirk soften into something breathtakingly warm, his eyes softening as he watched me giggle.
