Miles Morales Uncle Novels & Stories

Mabel laughed as I rocked her. Ruby and Jack slowly walked in. “Hey, little guy,” Jack chuckled at Miles. “Hello, Uncle Jack,” Miles replied, “Where’s Uncle Thomas?” I paused. “Do you miss Uncle Thomas?” I said to Miles. He nodded. “And you?” I looked down at my daughter in my arms. “Yes, I do,” she said softly. “Well, I have good news!” I exclaimed, “In a little while, the two of you will get to spend a whole bunch of time with Uncle Thomas!”

I was ready to fool Aunt Melissa but surprisingly, she was nowhere to be found. Wohoooo, the universe is on my side today, somewhat. ‘Really? I got hit by a giant tree, was nearly eaten by a giant werewolf, I am alive only because the wolf was kind enough and I also witnessed my uncle’s deadly side, and am getting all giddy over this? I really have low expectations from life’ I pushed the thought aside and moved inside the room. Uncle Pete was so shameless that he kept morphine right under his pillow like it was a broken tooth for the tooth fairy.

Joe replied, getting busy with his tablet. "Starting tomorrow morning, okay, Uncle?" "Yes." "KIMMY?" "KIMMY!"

I stood at my desk and said nothing for a moment. The cold had spread from my stomach outward into my chest and down my arms and I was gripping the phone tighter than I needed to. I made myself loosen my grip. I made myself breathe. Ares. My uncle. The man who had walked into my grandfather's will reading and taken sixty percent of everything and moved into the east wing and sat at my breakfast table and looked at my wife across the food she used to cook herself like she was something worth looking at. The man who had sent her that dress — because it had been him, I had known it the moment she thanked me and I had watched the look on my own face in the reflection of the window and seen mysel

"She's so screwed. I was thinking that she would be dying by the hands of your uncle but instead, she'll be dying from staying out in the rain." They both laughed as they followed everyone inside and I was left outside, drenched in the rain that angrily poured on me. I looked up at the sky dejectedly. "I'm sorry, Mom," I whispered. "I doubt if I'd ever be able to get you the justice you deserve at this rate." My body began to tremble violently as the cold wind from the storm hit my body continuously. This ordeal reminded me of the time Rowena left me out in the rain as punishment for not finishing all the duties she had assigned to me.

I demanded, looking at each of them. Miles sighed, running his hand through his hair as he shared a look with the others. They looked furious, pissed with their visitor. I'd seen them angry, especially whenever we had a meeting with the elders, but they were never this infuriated. It could only mean that whatever history they had with their uncle wasn't something good, which left me to wonder when this happened. “He killed our mom,” Mitch deadpanned, looking up. “Her bastard of a father was the reason we lost our mother!”

When Akiko finally recognized the messy hair, she screamed loudly. "Impossible!" Akiko screamed again. She refused to believe the disgusting reality she had just realized. It couldn't be that she slept with her own uncle! "Kenji... Uncle..." Akiko stuttered as she saw the body move, then awoke from her screams. It was definitely her uncle. That was why her aunt was hysterical and kept cursing her. "No... This can't be..." Akiko shook her head. There was no way she had just done the unthinkable with her uncle.

"Yet?" "As in, something I'll do in the future has already happened to her in the past." Silas's eyes met mine, and I saw something in them I'd never seen before. Uncertainty. "I know how it sounds. I know it's impossible. But she wasn't lying, Soren. She was terrified, and she was telling the truth, and I don't know what to do with that."

He asked I shook my head "No" "I told her that her little Dani misses her and that she’s not more little, she’s grown up.” I sniffed and silently chuckled. "I’m still her little girl." "You sure are." He kissed my forehead and then looked into my eyes "Why don’t you come for lunch, Amy is home, she could make that amazing casserole of hers." "Sure." I nodded. I hopped onto the passenger seat and he began driving. Uncle Milo is my mom’s older brother and he is my support, he does everything for me. He is a father less an uncle, to be honest, he is my only true family.

Demi asked in amazement. "Are you underestimating me? Besides being handsome, I'm great at statistical analysis. That's why I'm truly blessed: handsome and brainy," Uncle replied smugly. "Wow, so humble," I said to him. "I know," he smiled. "The police are on their way to arrest those responsible."
