"Sofia. Daddy is here. Can you talk to your mom for me? Tell her not to do this. I do not want a divorce." Leonardo thought Sofia would soften. Sofia used to be the one who ran to Leonardo every time Leonardo came home, wrapping her arms around Leonardo's legs, calling "Daddy" over and over. But this time, Sofia just stepped half a pace behind me. Quietly, Sofia said, "Uncle Leonardo, you should go take care of your other kid. Do not bother me and my mom anymore." Leonardo went rigid. Leonardo's hand hung in the air. "Sofia, I am your daddy. Why are you calling me uncle?"

"Who killed my parents and Please don't tell me a story or beat around the bush. My father ran to you for safety so I assume you knew who he was running from. So who's the person? " He kept silent and I screamed out," Just fuvking tell me Uncle "... I calmed down and said again, "I'm sorry for the language but please talk Uncle ". " Your Uncle Richard ". My world completely fell at that moment. I had been living with my parents killer all these years without knowing. " How", I asked silently. " Your Uncle is a hunter and a mafia leader"... " Mafia leader? "

Vale asked when she became agitated. “It’s my Uncle Ricky’s birthday tomorrow. I totally forgot it. I’m not prepared.” She let herself whispered a cuss. Her uncle was a well-known business and a retired official of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency. Uncle Ricky and her father were first cousins. She was close to the old man since she considered him her second father when her dad passed away three years ago. “Can I be your date then?” Vale simply asked. Eyes still on the road, and he would give a furtive glimpse to the side mirror.

PTSD much? I smooth the white apron out on the standard Dabney-Aparo housekeeper uniform and look up at my kind boss with a warm smile. I know this man. He's my uncle, mom's brother. He didn't take me in when I was younger because it just wasn’t feasible, so his mother, my abuela, did. I have always been close to him and his family, though. "Yes, Mr. Ortega?" I ask. It's unusual to call him by this name. I want to call him Uncle Kenny.

"Uncle Matt, yes, I will marry you." I lay on the hospital bed, phone pressed to my ear, my other hand limp at my side as my vacant eyes lingered on the bloodstained bandages around my wrist. How many times had I tried to end my life? I could no longer remember. All I knew was that whenever the waves of despair came crashing down, I felt no desire to keep on living. On the other end of the line, Matt Harlem corrected me, "Audrey, I am John's uncle, not yours. You should call me 'Matt.' Or, 'honey'."

Carlos I am seated in a bar next to my nephew, not Jake, but Phil, the one with the gentlest heart. I order two margaritas for us, and as we engage in conversation, he inquires, "What's the reason for calling me here, Uncle?" With confidence, I respond, "I want you to know that I deeply care for this family. While I am eager to stand by all of you during this challenging period, I understand that none of you may wish to see me at the mansion, and I respect that."

~Valerie "Val, Val," I heard my Uncle Miguel call from behind my door. I clamped my eyes shut. This was the fourth time he'd done this this week. My selfish parents had decided to go on vacation to Europe without their only child, leaving me behind to babysit my mom's grieving brother. The thing is, Uncle Miguel lost his wife a few weeks ago. Now, he insists on sleeping in my room because he claims he can see his dead wife anytime he closes his eyes. I was honestly convinced this man had gone completely mad.

If his dad hadn't just called him over and told him what his uncle did, he never would've thought his uncle would betray the Molson family. And he didn't get it, the Molson family was so nice to uncle, so why did he betray the Molson family? Was Grandma involved in this too? Jensen didn't even dare to think about it. "Grandpa, I..." Miles didn't give him any room to say no: "Okay, it's good to have Jensen show you around and meet people." Jensen's hands just froze. He was supposed to help his cousin recognize people? Recognize who? Miles also saw that his grandson didn't get what he really meant, his eyes calm and indifferent: "You don't want to?"

"My dear perfect husband, my uncles will be upset if we take any longer to show up." Hand in hand, they walked out of the airport toward the Miles family. As they approached, Evelyn was quickly pulled away from Warren before they could utter a word. She was soon surrounded by excited voices. "Evie, I'm Alan, your eldest uncle." "I'm Diego, your third uncle." "Evie, I'm Fabian, your seventh uncle." Evelyn was enveloped by the Miles family, hearing the word "uncle" over and over. She smiled politely and greeted, "Nice to meet you, uncles."
