Miles Morales Uncle Novels & Stories

Not defeated in battle, but rendered irrelevant. His knees buckled. He was forced down onto the cold marble floor. Not by violence, but by the sheer, humiliating physics of hierarchy. His body betrayed him, obeying the deeper law written in his blood. The silence was absolute. Then, chaos erupted. Caspian made a raw, animal noise from the floor. "You and him?" Rage and humiliation warred in his eyes. "My uncle?" He tried to surge up against the invisible weight. "Aurora, this is a sick joke! A ploy to humiliate me!"

"So who's this lucky girl that catches the attention of my beloved nephew?" I was spacing out as Louie suddenly pulled me beside him. "Uncle, meet my precious and beloved fiancee…Bree Amorce De Guzman!" "Babe, meet my most outrageous and successful uncle… Uncle Calixto Rafaelo Madrigal," he said as he introduced us to each other. The man rise his right brows and rubbing his lower lip with his right index finger. His gaze makes me feel uncomfortable as if he was totally seeing me naked in front of him.

Finally, the council room doors opened, and the stench of cigar smoke hit me like a slap. There he was. Marcello. Reclining in his oversized chair like a damn king on a rotting throne, cigar perched between his fingers, eyes as smug and dead as ever. “Well, well.” He drawled, not even bothering to rise, “If it isn’t the family disgrace.” “Hi, Uncle.” I said sweetly, striding in without invitation, “You’re looking... older. Is that liver failure or just your soul finally rotting?” His lips twitched, but not into a smile, “Got that filthy tongue, I see. You must have gotten it from your mother. She was always the bitch.”

Uncle Charlie, my dad’s old friend, stood waiting for me. I gave him all the cash I had so that he'd look after my dad's boat. Ten thousand dollars, that should be enough until I see him again. "Where are you and little Mila off to this time?" Uncle Charlie asked me and I shrugged lightly. "Somewhere only we know," I told Uncle Charlie, and he sighed lightly. "Are you still running from El Salvador?" He asked me in concern and I looked over my shoulders before nodding at him. “I need to grab Mila.”

After some hours, the doctor reports the results. "Uncle, what is it? I'm scared, you know. Please tell me honestly, What the hell is happening?" Asked Mile. His uncle sighed and was speechless. Mile was scared to see his reaction. "My dear Mile You are like a son to me, so I won't hide this from you. You need to face this, my dear, and..." His uncle can't talk properly because he was shocked as well. "What is it, uncle? Please tell me. " Said Mile. He showed the results to Mile.

"You probably shouldn't have even told him you were retiring. He’s a ghost. He wouldn't have known the power had changed." Dad laughed for real this time, though it was weary. "He would have found out. Nothing escapes Michael Knox. Besides, I didn't tell him. Adam went running his mouth, hoping to impress the man. Adam thinks that once he owns the Greene Empire, he’ll finally be worthy of his uncle's respect." "His uncle?" I froze. "Yes. Michael Knox is Adam’s uncle. Not that he cares for the boy; they don't speak. Michael is straight to the point, no drama. He doesn't keep in touch with anyone."

It was only today that he realized, how tall his little uncle really was, how big his shoes really were! “Who’s going to take care of the family business?” Mark teased as he pulled Marcus back by his collar. “Miles…” Marcus retorted without a care as he tried to escape from eldest uncle’s claws. “Not me…” Miles ran to Chris’s right “I am going to be Little uncle’s general.” “Kid, that’s my role.” Night Wing mercilessly pulled Miles back, his lips curling in ridicule “When you are out of your diapers, we can consider discussing this again.”

Mia said, raising her voice. Something about that statement annoyed Charlotte, that despite her decision to walk away, she returned. “You still think I care what anyone in your family thinks about what I do with my life?” She asked with so much hurt in her voice. “Where were you when your son treated me like sh1t all those years and you practically pretended I was dead? Besides everyone knows you all hate your brother because he took the inheritance and left you all broke. What will telling him change?” It was not news that the Jonah and his family hated their uncle ever since he received all that money from their grandfather after his death. Maybe Mia thought she didn’t know about their rel

"Oh, sorry Uncle. I don't know your name and grandma always said it's rude to call elders by their name." "I think he doesn't recognise you. That's odd though." "Fuck—-" "Uncle, are you going to make them for me? Please, pretty please." "Yuh-Yeah....oh-okay." Miles had his hand over his mouth. Few flashbacks of earlier were enough to make him realise that he was too out of it. "Why aren't you angry?" He asked to Christopher. "Why will i be angry?" Christopher asked. "I-I was—-" "That was alcohol. And you did nothing wrong." Christopher smiled at him. "Besides, it was soo funny."
