~Milo~ Panic coursed through Milo’s body when he woke up to find himself surrounded by a group of strangers in blue uniforms and white coats. One was even drawing blood from his leg. "I'm done being poked and prodded for their sick experiments," he growled, shaking away the fear. In a fit of rage, he knocked people into walls with a growl he’s never heard himself make before. “She’s coming up,” someone called through the chaos from behind him as bodies moved to block the exit and windows.

Milo growled, his face moving entirely close to mine. He used his heavy weight to pin me down against the soft velvet cushions. I kicked my legs hard, but he trapped them beneath him. I was entirely stuck. I couldn't move at all. "You are going to like this, Anna," Milo whispered against my ear, his hot breath making me want to completely throw up. "Please," I cried, hot tears pouring down my terrified face. "Milo, please stop." He ignored my entirely loud cries. He grabbed both of my trapped wrists entirely with one massive hand, pinning them above my head. His dark crazy eyes locked onto my shaking lips.

Then Milo stepped into the frame. Black gloves. Black boots. A pistol holstered at his hip. Calm. Composed. Mechanical. I gasped and stumbled forward. “No,” I whispered. “No, no, no—Milo—please—” He didn’t look at the camera. Just at Julian. And then the blade came out. Long. Serrated. Cold steel gleaming beneath harsh fluorescent lights. Milo dragged it slowly across Julian’s cheek. A line of red opened. Julian screamed.

I fell asleep too. I opened my eyes slowly and turned my head hoping to see Ivory but Millie was laying beside me. She licked my face and I sat up straight immediately. "Morning.." I turned to see Ivory just got out of the shower and I smiled looking at her. "What's with that face?" She looked at me confuse but I decided to turn to Millie. "Hello Millie." I hugged her and pulled the blanket up again. "I have work, Leon." She said and I pretended to sleep again.

The bitter scent reached Milo’s nose, and he wrinkled it, disgust rising with the burn in his sinuses. "Bet you’d love to be someone’s little bitch right here in the shadows.” Milo's heart started to race, pounding in a wild, unsteady rhythm. Panic crawled over his skin, and his breath shortened, shallow, sharp inhales that couldn’t quite fill his chest. He tried to leave. Quickly. But footsteps followed. “Hey—are you ignoring me, Laskey?”
