Ma'am, the World Is Waiting for Your Divorce

Ma'am, the World Is Waiting for Your Divorce

Chapter 485 Wayne laughed. "Yeah, it's me. What's up? Are you surprised?" Mimi slowly backed up, feeling very nervous. "What do you want? I advise you not to do anything rashly. There was no one else in this alley, but the two ends are busy and crowded streets." Wayne sneered. "Do you think I will be afraid? Mimi, you are too ridiculous. Since I dare to appear in front of you, I am not afraid of anything."

System Of Blood: To Crave Survival

System Of Blood: To Crave Survival

She was writing something, her hand moving across paper in steady, mechanical strokes. "Mimic," Marcus whispered. They were Class D threats that copied human behavior. Dangerous because they looked normal until you got close enough for them to strike. This one had probably been here for years, sitting at that desk and waiting for someone stupid enough to approach. I'd killed Mimics before. The trick was speed. Get close, strike fast, don't let them react. I moved toward the desk. The woman kept writing. Three steps away. Two. One. I drove my blade through the back of her chair. The Mimic screamed—a sound that wasn't human at all. It twisted, faster than anything should move, and its face spl

The Beta Test Luna

The Beta Test Luna

As she worked, a log entry caught her eye, audio only: “...the behavioral adaption is astonishing. The specimens don’t just mimic appearances; they pull from our own memories, our fears, to become them. It’s not a physical threat… it’s a psychological one. They make you see what you most dread…” A chill that had nothing to do with the water went down her spine. Mimic. Pull from memories. Was that what the game was doing with Aiden’s resemblance? Or was it something more? She shook off the thought and finished the sequence. Lights flickered on throughout the chamber with a rising hum. The primary objective updated. PRIMARY OBJECTIVE ACHIEVED: POWER RESTORED SECONDARY OBJECTIVE PROGRESS: SYNCH

The Abandoned Luna's Return

The Abandoned Luna's Return

Instead, I clapped my hands together. A wave of Grey Flame erupted from my palms—not as a fire, but as a **reformatting command**. The shockwave hit the mimic mid-air. The girl's form didn't explode; it *de-rezzed*. The skin peeled away into square pixels, revealing the terrifying endoskeleton of glass and wire beneath. It hit the wall behind me, shattering into a thousand fragments of harmless data. But there were eleven more. "The transition is inevitable," the mimics said in unison, their voices overlapping into a sickening drone. "The Prime Mother has already begun the overwrite. Look outside, Weaver. See your new world."

Alpha Nocturne's Contracted Mate

Alpha Nocturne's Contracted Mate

one of the Mimic's explained patiently, "If you can imagine an ant hill…it's very much the same." "We followed the first four branches but they didn't seem to lead anywhere other than to sleeping quarters and various rooms for their day to day needs. The main bulk of the activity seems to be from beyond the main chamber which you'll get to if you follow the main tunnel that you first enter into." The second mimic advised as they quickly sketched a loose map on the blank pad of paper they had given him. "Is there anything we should be concerned about in the main chamber?" Greyson asked, his face focused in a serious scowl.

I loved this story with Alpha Nocturne and Luna Ann. I’m really glad that they got their happy ending and are fated mates. Ann’s love for him broke the curse. I was glad to see that her step mom and step sister got want they deserved.

I Kissed A Badboy And He Was Mine

I Kissed A Badboy And He Was Mine

Chapter 74: This Isn’t Fake Anymore Mimi’s Pov By the time I got to class, I was already late. Not late enough to be locked out, but late enough that everyone noticed. The door creaked slightly as I pushed it open, and the low murmur inside the lecture hall dipped for just a second before picking back up again. Heads turned. Not all of them, but enough. Of course. I kept my eyes forward, walking down the steps toward the middle row where Zara was already seated. She shifted her bag off the empty chair beside her the moment she saw me coming, her gaze flicking over my face like she was trying to read something I hadn’t said yet.

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The three mimics on the floor below lit up in Jack's perception like counterfeit bills under ultraviolet light, their false signatures suddenly, obviously wrong. Jack folded space. He materialized in the corridor of the forty-seventh floor face-to-face with a perfect copy of himself. Same dark-gold eyes. Same gauntlets. Same predatory stance. The mimic smiled with Jack's smile. "Hello, Father-blood." Jack didn't hesitate. He drove the compass directly into the mimic's chest. The device's reality-frequency resonance clashed with the construct's void-language foundation. The mimic shrieked, its form destabilizing, Jack's face melting into grey static.

Dear Ex Husband, I'll Make You Wish You Were Dead

Dear Ex Husband, I'll Make You Wish You Were Dead

I steadied myself, palms flat on the cold, concrete floor. "I didn't hear you," Mimi mocked, her voice dripping with malice. "We didn't hear you. You are what?" A wave of nausea washed over me, but I managed to mutter, "I'm sorry." Mimi's response was swift and brutal. She ground her heel into my fingers, crushing them beneath her weight. I winced, pain shooting through my hand. "Good," she hissed, releasing her grip. "Know your place, you slut." With that, she turned and walked away, leaving me seething.

she said with a pleased smile, “she will step into this place. And when she steps in, you will lose her.” “Melissa would not enter this chamber,” I said. “She will,” the mimic whispered. “Because she thinks she can save you.” My chest tightened. “No.” The mimic nodded slowly. “She is already trying to reach you.” I swallowed. “If she comes here, I will reach her first.” “You are trapped,” the mimic replied. “What will you do when she appears right in front of the creature.” “I will get to her,” I said. “I do not care what stands in my way.”

Shifter Deathbound Curse

Shifter Deathbound Curse

“Why not just replace me directly?” “Because there is one thing I cannot fully replicate,” the Mimic replied. “The weave inside you. That shifter spirit and the human soul. They are part of your essence, yet they are separate entities that chose to bind themselves to you. It is... complicated. But not impossible.” He raised his hand, and his palm began to glow with a faint gold and blue light, a mockery of Siron’s power. “With enough time with you, I can learn to mimic that too. Or at least, enough to fool the others.” Siron felt a chill. This was worse than he had imagined. The Mimic didn’t just want to kill him; he wanted to take over his life, his relationships, even his allies.
