Looking at her, Alice was severely disoriented. Mia threw me a look seeing the same thing. There was a furrow between her brows. "What do you mean you don't remember what happened?" She questioned. "It must've been the fall." Roman added. But Alice shook her head. "I didn't fall off a mountain. I mean I barely have any broken bones or fractures. It's—" She pressed against her temples. "It's my mind. It's like it's a blur, like it's scrunched up in my head."

Noah I'm broken. Like, literally broken. My brain refuses to work properly and I have no fucking idea why. I’m leaning against the wall, in the middle of the hallway of all places, trying to read the message on my phone for the third time because I’m so distracted the words won’t make sense. What that distraction might be… I choose not to examine too closely.

How pathetic. It was nicer when things were just bad… not now that they are worse. Now the worst thing is that if I’m wrong, people get hurt. And even if I’m right, people will still get hurt. I try to cosy up and sleep. ~~~ At 5:12 AM my alarm clock buzzes. I quickly kill it before it can wake the neighbors or better still my mom. I dress in all black. It includes my hoodie, my jeans and my sneakers. I check the burner phone twice, to make sure the files are encrypted and I still check again before leaving. Right now… Paranoia isn’t a feeling anymore, It’s sadly now a habit.
