Each volume of Strange short stories will have 3 medium-sized stories and about 10 short stories. I let my imagination run wild, conjuring spine-chilling scenes and mysterious characters. The pack leaned in closer, their eyes wide with fascination, hanging onto every word I spoke. The suspenseful atmosphere made my heart race with excitement.

Overtaken by the waters?” “No. Have you ever heard of the Moonlink pack?” “Who hasn’t?” I say. “An old nursing tale used to scare young wolves.” “And what if I told you the tale was true?” I turn to gape at him and a thrill runs through me. Was he always standing so close? “I would tell you you’re ridiculous.” I say, getting back on track. He smiles, a baring of teeth really. “They are real.” He says. For the umpteenth time in only so many hours I’m shocked.

Michael said, “Sakura told me we could play hide-and-seek, or we could tell scary stories.” Akira thought about it for a moment and then said, “You know what? How about we freshen up and change into our pajamas and then meet up in my room. Then we can tell each other scary stories. I know a lot of very scary Japanese ones.” Michael looked excited. “Really? Awesome.” Akira turned to Sakura and asked, “How about it?” Sakura nodded. “Sure, that sounds fun.” She turned to ask Mary and Katherine. “How about you two?”
