She raised a hand—and three of her mirror copies lunged forward. Carl intercepted one, blade humming. Ophelia ducked the second, slamming her palm against its head and activating her memory disruptor. Tobias scrambled for cover, launching a neuro-blast that flickered through the air like lightning. But Mira didn’t move. She just watched. And smiled. “You’re not ready for what’s coming,” she said. “None of you are.” Then her body turned to light—and vanished. The remaining mirror copies fell to the ground like broken puppets.

“I only told them the truth.” “Shut up before I have you thrown into the same fucking warehouse,” I said under my breath. “That would be a mistake.” The priest stepped forward. “Carlos, you should pray that Luna Erin is still alive.” I forced myself to laugh. “Is that another warning? And it’s Alpha to you.” The priest’s eyebrow rose. He looked down at my covered arm. “If Luna Erin is dead, you will face consequences greater than anything you could possibly imagine.” Pain pulsed through the black mark again, making me look down at it, my heart dropping with a fear I couldn’t stop.

Tears would often escape him as he waited for any sign of her. Mirabel was haunted by guilt over how she had treated Susan. Each night, she prayed for Susan's return, hoping to mend the misunderstandings that had driven them apart. Taylor, on the other hand, experienced a harsh lesson when Mirabel confronted her about her attempt to drug Jimmy into sleeping with her. Caught in the act, she was warned never to approach Jimmy or any member of his family again. Regret washed over her, but it was too late to change her actions.

Royce "Just wait and see what I'm about to do." I answered, my voice firm and steady, echoing the firm determination that had completely overwhelmed me. Without waiting for another second, I turned towards one of the guards, who was standing at his post some steps away from us, and called, "Number four!" My voice, bouncing off the space. In that instant, number four turned, and with a matching intensity, he ran towards me. He halted at a considerable distance and bowed his head. "Yes, my Lord," he answered.

Sun heightened her powers. “Why Viv? Why did you do this? Why did you reject him? Moon wanted me. I wanted Moon. Alaric wanted you. But you ruined everything.” Miracles growled. I saw this coming. She sat beside the lake looking at her reflection in the water. She was so magnificent. Her blue eyes screamed perfection. “I am sorry. But I had to do it.” I said. I had nothing to say. I had no explanation. Maybe I did, but I wasn’t ready to drag Miracle into it.

After cleaning the broken tray, Mira excused herself earlier than normal. And the moment she stepped outside the chamber doors— She stopped breathing steadily. Her hands trembled violently. No. She knew what she saw. Twice. Not imagination. Not exhaustion. Something inside that mirror had looked back at her. And smiled. --- That night— Mira avoided mirrors completely. But sleep never came. Because every time she closed her eyes— She saw Elian’s reflection whispering silently through the glass. And somehow— Deep down— She felt certain of one terrifying thing. It knew she noticed it.
