They were of different shapes and sizes—some looked like floating cathedrals of glass, others like jagged shards of obsidian—but they all shared the same Architectural-Lineage. The ship creaked as it tried to follow orders but there were too many ropes holding it to the other ship. Claire narrowed her eyes at the ship. It had jet black sails with a crescent moon on them. At the end of the crescent moon a star was dangling. Claire felt a strange feeling of dejavu. Did she know this ghostly ship? She looked down at the lower deck and the men were frantically trying to free the ship. Each time rope was cut it was magically replaced with another. They clearly had done this before.

The mother ship is easily casted away by the ships of Xylos. At the port of Foth, they saw fleets of ships about three hundred, just like Ace said and as terrifying as it looked, they already had their mind made up. They came to land, all holding their grease-covered sticks. Ace cast the overshadowing spell on them all, so the guards positioned around the ships wouldn’t see them. Edward used his magic to open the ships’ tanks and their oil flowed out as they all ran toward the port where the ship stayed. The humans amongst them would cover the closest ships, while those possessing supernatural strength and speed would cover the ships far away, according to plan.
