ALARIC Moon let go of me the moment Miracle shifted. It was all weird. So strange. So different. So impossible. I was short of words. What the hell just happened? I witnessed it. Naelis, Zoran, and the others stood frozen in the corner of the hall. They were stunned when they realized what was happening. These black-eyed creatures were not strangers, they were the innocent pack members who had come for the feast. They were mothers, fathers, and friends who had just been smiling a few minutes ago. Mira moved her hand through the air, and her blue eyes began glowing with a sharp light.
