THE CURSE OF MIRA CONSTANCE
"You look better today. How are you feeling, Mira?"
"I feel great," I answered disinterestedly.
"Are you going somewhere, Mildred?"
"No! Why do you ask?" her brow twitched in confusion.
"You are all dressed up like you are going somewhere," I scanned her face.
"No, nothing. I just felt like dressing up today," she said, avoiding my gaze.
I closed the door behind me. Her room was very hot like she was cooking something. The smell of strong herbs hit my nose, turning my stomach.
I gagged from the effect. As wolves, our sense of everything is way more amplified than humans.
