IN THE CAPO'S BED

IN THE CAPO'S BED

I had made a list of books I'd be reading during the break. Visiting the library was one of the things I enjoyed during the holiday. It not only enlightened me on things I didn't know, it was my refuge. A quiet, neutral space where I could think clearly. I sighed quietly, pushing back my chair with as little noise as possible, and headed toward the towering shelves. My finger glided along the spines of the books, searching for the title. The Dark Triad: Understanding the Mind of the Manipulative and Ruthless. The title had caught my attention during a lecture, and now, with everything happening in my life, it felt oddly relevant.

DEATH REINCARNATE

DEATH REINCARNATE

Dropping a book from the shelves in another book, in a different world, but intertwine destiny, as the heroine and another shard soul of ‘hers’ took that defining sound of her every step and whispers. “DEATH REINCARNATE.” Misha’s voice echoes, as she took the book that had fallen from its shelves and into that dimly lit corner of the city’s grand library. With her puzzled mind, yet it wasn’t showed upon herself. She is ringing with thoughts and questions as to why a certain book in that particular genre is put into the section of religious one and the bible? Just how uncanny might a coincidence such as this occur? “Uncanny.”

The Nether Alchemist: Tales of a Necessary Evil

The Nether Alchemist: Tales of a Necessary Evil

It had stood the test of time, and it would keep fighting no matter what. Luciana had developed a dislike for the motel. She felt like a caged animal, ready to be hauled out and judged, only to be returned to her room after her act was completed. She yearned for the hardships to end so she could return to her solitary existence. It made her feel better; she lacked the abilities required for social engagements; the number of people she could converse with at once would be insufficient to fill an elevator. Imani believed she was not the appropriate choice to become the next Champion of Ithea because she loved it that way, a world where she could fit her lifestyle into it.

Alpha Ryker's Cursed Luna

Alpha Ryker's Cursed Luna

“Except you could make do with some company but in return, I must fix up this whole messy appearance for you.” I sighed and stared at my reflection. I did look terrible and I hadn't taken a shower for the day. Like I said, I wasn't a morning person so no judgments. “Fine,” I said. “We have a deal.” *** It was a pity only six of fifteen books were actually good. I was going to murder Beta Miles for recommending sock as romance books. This was one of the reasons I detested romance and I'm sorry, not sorry but I consider people who read romance books, funny people.

The Third Book

The Third Book

Cela remains disappointed. "C'mon. It's not like they bought everything. They just thought of giving the books as Christmas presents apart from the corporate giveaways. You must know that your mother enjoyed your first book so much. Too bad that she passed before the second one is out," Nanny Rita continued. "You've always been loyal to her," Cela said.

The Unfortunate Trilogy

The Unfortunate Trilogy

Under the influence, but not inebriated. "And," I say, pointing to my chest a second too soon. "I was the best reader out of any Unfortunate in my age group." As he sits in front of me, he smiles and drags his finger across his lip. He rests his ankle on his knee and holds his whiskey over his shin by the glass's rim. "What kind of books do they read in those camps anyway?" I shrug. "A bit of everything. Although, the stories were hard to follow as most of them were missing pages. Some of them, whole chapters had been ripped out."

this is an amazing story. can't wait for an update. I hope the dna results cause a change so there's no more unfortunate and fortunate, that everyone is treated as a human. I hope Kade tells Ana he loves her and they marry and have kids. I guess I'm a sap for happy endings.

book is very different, though I wish us readers could show respect for the author with gems along the way or with voting gems.... An author that just writes with so much detail without the bore of description of clothing....

The CEO's Secret

The CEO's Secret

Many people always gathered there. Katia stopped at a stall where they were selling books of an erotic theme and skimmed through some titles. There were some books she already had, but others she didn't. Some of these books, she never thought she'd see in print. She picked up a book titled "Diary of a Submissive" by Sophie Morgan. She read the synopsis, raised an eyebrow, but ended up buying it. She didn't know why she bought it, but she had already paid for it.

Love and Lust (Hamartia Trilogy Book 2)

Love and Lust (Hamartia Trilogy Book 2)

"Always being looked at, no room for mistakes. Maybe that's why everybody detested him for marrying my mother. Because everybody was staring, everybody was waiting for him to screw up." "Perhaps," Lucas agreed. "If your father wasn't as godly as he was, maybe my father would have helped him cover his mistakes. But like you said, everyone was waiting for a reason to throw him off his throne. Especially with the number of enemies he has." I swallowed the lump in my throat. Suddenly, the desire for having another drink became strong. I gave in to another glass because holy fuck! Who wouldn't want a drink after the bomb? A secret for a secret. Trust. This is trust, Caterina. Why Lucas was so inv

WILL I EVER LOVE AGAIN?

WILL I EVER LOVE AGAIN?

“I prefer reading non-fiction in my free time. Most recently, I read Sapiens, by Yuval Noah Harari, which is a history of humans and their social structures. I intend to read the sequel, Homo Deus, next.” “Sounds enthralling,” Andre muttered, rolling his eyes for my benefit. “I assure you it was.” The bartender smoothly replaced the empty margarita pitcher with a fresh one, placing an empty glass in front of Roman. The Englishman nodded his head in thanks. “We read each other’s favorite books,” I explained. “Andre’s is Red Storm Rising.” “By that military tosser Tom Clancy?” Roman scoffed haughtily. “His books are overly stuffed with bollocks acronyms and officer jargon. It’s the rare case w

Thank you for this another wonderful story of Haysberth children (now adults). I only have one request dear author. Pls don't take long to release Colton's Story. I will surely support Lee's and Tee's but the wait is killing me for Colton's story. He deserves most to be happy for all his sacrifices!

This book is captivating, loving and inspiring. I list this as one of my top three books. I love how the author inserts her personal notes within the book as reminders. I would give this book TEN STARS if I could. I would highly recommend this book to everyone.
