The flickering edge hissed as it moved through the air, sensing the Corrupted-Code of the ghosts. "The garden is dying, Elara," the ghosts whispered in unison, a hundred different voices creating a Polychromatic Chorus that shook the ground. "The General is gone, but the shards remain. We are the 'Infection' you can never delete." One of the ghosts—the one in the lab coat—walked toward Elara. She didn't have feet; she drifted across the grass, the moss turning to gray ash beneath her. She stopped inches from Elara’s face.

Her ashes are buried under the rose bushes behind the chapel." I didn't stop, walking straight toward the chapel. Giovanni froze behind me but didn't dare to call out. As I reached the bottom of the steps, the female ghost's head snapped up. She lunged at me, her face a sickly pale green, her eye sockets empty black pits.

The light illuminated the space, full of old objects and stacked boxes. As she walked, a loose floorboard creaked beneath her feet. She bent down to see what it was and, with some effort, lifted the board. She found an old book, covered in dust, with a leather cover filled with drawings of supernatural creatures. Scarlett’s heart began to race; something about the book drew her in, as if it held secrets waiting to be discovered.

Will she be able to survive all the ordeals if they knew Luca asked her out? Marvina chuckled, "Well, it's just a mere dream. Don't read too much into it. If you're scared of that female ghost, then I suggest for you call for someone to help you chase the ghost out of your house.” She answered casually. Marvina looked at her worried face. I reached out and pressed the radio button on the steering wheel. My voice was cold, cutting through the static. "Mason Vale, do you see a ghost in your mirror?" I said coldly into the radio. Those words pierced straight through Mason's last line of composure. His car hesitated for an obvious instant on the straight. Now. I smashed the throttle down. The car tore through the air and pulled alongside him. Ahead was a chain of fast S-curves. Seeing that I was about to pass, a vicious look flashed through Mason's eyes.

"Even if I can't forget him, it's only because I can't forget how he abandoned me when I was at my lowest, most desperate point. If I don't make him pay with my own hands, I'll never have peace. "I brought you here because I thought he might be hiding out. I need to find him so he can do your surgery." Once Nicky was sure there was no love left in her heart for me, he relaxed. He pulled her into a tender embrace. "I'm sorry. I misunderstood." They left that dusty, forgotten place—but not before smashing our wedding photo to pieces and burning it.
