I placed a kiss on her tombstone and sat on the ground. "Today it's been six years but still your memories are fresh in my heart. You were my friend since I was seventeen and look after ten years, you still live as a beautiful friend in my heart even though you're not alive. I know it was my fault that today you and our child are not here and for that I will never be able to forgive myself." I breathed out and a familiar agony erupted making my mouth run dry. "I miss your memories Zara." I said and let out a deep breath.

“You'll never know.” Almost all the people I've had in my life never really liked me. Hence, no friends. Not that I am bothered by it though, I have Mike with me. But it was becoming a pattern. Missed calls. Missed dinners. Missed moments that used to feel important.

With that we talked through the night . It’s better for things to remain the way they are now than to keep reopening wounds that haven’t healed. Still, I can’t help the ache inside. I thought we could move past that night and continue with our friendship. But maybe I was wrong. Maybe I truly have lost a good friend. And honestly, it hurts more than I expected. I miss him. I miss our long chats, the times he would come over to my place just to talk or hang out, the laughter we shared without even trying. All of that, gone. And the worst part is, I don’t know if I’ll ever get it back.

I miss you and your letters, I miss hearing what you have to say about anything and everything. I wish I was with you right now. I really just need to hold you in my arms. I'm trying to be strong, but it's really hard without my rock here with me. I know you think that I'm your rock, but you're also mine. I would be an extremely different person if it wasn't for you. I Know that these letter's are supposed to be happy, but I'm hoping that you will be able to comfort me, or that just writing this will help. One of my friends, he died in action today. He was one of my closer friends. I feel lost.
