Help her!” I shout as I grip my hair, not knowing what to do, when a snarl rips out of Marissa before a loud primal, guttural howl slips past her lips. A howl so deafening that it leaves me weak as goosebumps erupt on my exposed chest. Howls echo around the mountain. The rogues are responding to her. Thomas moves closer to her with Sandra when they both try to push Marissa back down. Marissa screams again when I see something glow under her top, over her heart.

He dragged out a chair for her to sit on, the act creasing Missy’s brows into confusion, she sat down digging in the gentleman’s act he just portrayed. “Where is your mother?” Davis asked, looking around the table that was getting filled with guests already to find his wife missing and not with them. “I should go look for her.” Missy stood up and before anyone could deny she had ran off, straight out of the hall and to the foyer, taking the stairs and running upstairs.
