The Peculiar Morass

The Peculiar Morass

Julia stayed up late because of Peterson's estranged behavior. She kept on thinking about the bracelet. ‘Look for the bracelet and end your misery.’ “What does he mean by that?” she uttered while staring at the ceiling of her bedroom. “Was he possessed? How come he knew about the bracelet?” she rolled over from left side to right. “That butterfly… it must have something to do with that butterfly. Also, what the hell is a book of life? that voice had not explained a thing to me.” She closed her eyes and pulled herself to sleep.

The Purrfect Wingman

The Purrfect Wingman

And I never missed. The humans were too polite. Politeness was a weakness. I’d known that from kittenhood. It lets predators circle. It lets intruders linger. It let bleach-blonde parasites stroll into perfectly good nesting grounds like they owned the place. Jane, the walking perfume bottle, was still here.

Oh this book is off to a fabulous start! I’m a few chapters in now and I’m loving this book. Spitfire, you’re my favourite, love the sass and commentary hehe. I’m also loving how the FMC/MMC are connecting and you can feel that slow love burning already. Highly recommend!

A delightful tale that combines humor and heart! With charming characters, an opinionated cat, and an engaging plot, it keeps you turning the pages. The book beautifully explores friendship and love, focusing on the bond between two humans and their feline chaos crew. A must-read for cat lovers!

Mr. Pamperer and His Wily Woman

He also wore a badge carved with a shield, a scepter and a lion, which was the emblem of the Weddell family. So Brennan soon believed it, and he came forward with excitement and held out his hand: "Hello, well, I am Brennan Puckett, and I'm now acting chairman of Mitchell Corporation. Your arrival is a great honor to our company. I will only act on behalf of..." But before he could finish his words, Murphy ignored him and passed in front of him and walked up to Jean. He raised his eyebrow and said, "What's going on here? As a man, even if you're not a gentleman, you should not be so rough with such a beautiful and weak girl, am I right?"

The Peculiar Flower

“I know. No one will show hospitality towards intruders.” The girl did not speak again. “I’m sorry, eliminating foreign species is my job. I have to do it, even right now.” Peony released a huge amount of smoke. It attacked the intruder. It was choking the girl. She was about to do her final blow when she sensed someone’s presence, a more powerful presence than the girl. “The scent was from him.” Peony’s system was filled with a nostalgic feeling. Her smoke that attacked the girl intruder weakened. “Zachary.” she blurted out of nowhere.

Mrs. Perfect

Mrs. Perfect

Surprisingly, my soul floated midair. I didn't disappear right away. I watched Healer Petra Holmes gasp the moment the scalpel dove into my skin, and only one kidney was found. "Why does she only have one kidney?" she boomed. "This is ridiculous! How could they make her donate her kidney when she only has one? This is murder!" Just then, her assistant panicked and yelled, "Healer Petra, the patient's stopped breathing. What's going on?"

Her Peculiar Husband

Her Peculiar Husband

I was so engrossed in my thoughts and was so much trying to not think about those memories that I didn't even realize how far have I come. "Well I don't know about people who are alive, but I am pretty sure that dead people do come here to jog," Ady said and crossed her arms giving me a scary look. "I didn't realize it. Actually, I was thinking about today's meeting with the foreign investors and I guess that's why I took the wrong turn." I said.
