A Family in Pieces

A Family in Pieces

When they carried me back to the pack, I had been whispering my pleas in the snow, "Mom, I'm not gonna make it… Please save me…" However, all she did was toss out a cruel, heartless remark. "Are you seriously still fighting with Linda now? Do you have any idea how close she came to getting clawed in the face by a silver claw?" Then, she turned her back on me and led all the healers straight to Linda. How could she ever have time to love me? Eyes red-rimmed, the trainee healer tending to me finally broke down and called for Mom. "Chief Healer Lucia, Connie is really not going to make it. Her wolf is fading…"

His Straight Pet

His Straight Pet

The face was blank. But under it, the caption read: **"The Last Seraphine." ** My breath caught. I slammed the book shut and stood. Too fast. My legs felt like lead. I made my way back toward the main desk, still gripping the book like it might disappear. Cassandra, the librarian, looked up as I approached. "Find something?" she asked. "Yeah, uh... this one." I held it up. "Pages are missing. A lot of them. And... some of it looks like blood."

Accidentally Pregnant By My Alpha Best friends

Accidentally Pregnant By My Alpha Best friends

I told him as I stood and walked toward the librarian. Unfortunately, she didn’t have good news. She said this was the only copy, which in itself was strange. “But there has to be another way to find it,” Graham said as he joined me. He explained that we needed it urgently and that if they didn’t have it here, another library must. “I’m not sure,” the librarian replied, adjusting her glasses. “We never received any other copies. What seems to be the problem?” “Some of the pages are missing,” Graham said, placing the book on the counter.

Love this currently ongoing novel. The story is great. The writing is great! Madeline goes through many ups and downs and plenty of strife and angst but also romance and werewolves and societies that have some bad leadership. I don’t want to give anything away as it is such a good read!

The Cursed Alpha’s Dark Obsession.

The Cursed Alpha’s Dark Obsession.

He frowned. “Leanne,” I supplied. “Yeah, she put your necklace between your novel—” I didn't wait to hear whatever he had to say next. I turned sharply and reached for my tote bag, digging into it and grabbing the novel I'd been reading. I pulled it out and opened it. A surge of relief flooded me as my eyes fell on the necklace sitting between the pages of my book. Its clasp was missing and a few inches from its chain had broken. It was fine, I can fix it. Would probably cost me a lot, but it was better than losing it entirely.

I demand more of this masterpiece!! The little details that breathe life into the characters are even stronger here. I’m truly proud of how you’ve built on your first work, Author. I really can’t wait to know more about Saphielle and her irresistible, grumpy Alpha ; )

Rejected by My Alpha, Claimed by the Lycan King

Rejected by My Alpha, Claimed by the Lycan King

I smiled at him and he disappeared on the spot the same way he appeared. I looked at the book and sat down on the carpeted floor. I was ready to learn and I looked at the drawing on the cover page. It wasn't a drawing per se but more of an engraving. It seemed to be calling to me and I touched it. It was a circle with drawings inside it and there was a spiral shape that has three points that emanated from the middle and I touched it and without knowing where a needle or sharp object came from since I hadn't seen any on the book, I felt my finger get pricked and before I could take it back, blood had already trickled on the book and I heard a clicking sound and there was light all around the

The Alpha King's Innocent Breeder

The Alpha King's Innocent Breeder

't really remember what I wrote down that day, but I was sure something pertaining to what just happened to Nicholas was written down in that journal. Only if I could lay my hands on that fucking journal, I will be able to find answers to this sudden doubt within me. I checked the first, second, and third rows, but I couldn't find the journal. "Where on earth did I keep that stuff? I stood up and my hands pushed down a book. I paused and looked to my left where the book was. I picked up the book and smiled, it was my old journal "Where have you been? I walked back to his bed and flipped through the book, looking for a particular write-up. I ended up flipping through the book but could

Scattered Pieces of The Past

Scattered Pieces of The Past

On our eighth anniversary, my boyfriend, Liam Daniels, dragged me along to plan his marriage proposal. That exact morning, my pregnancy test came back positive. Outwardly, I teased him for ruining the surprise. Privately, I called everyone I knew to brag. My parents wept over the phone, saying time flew by too fast. My best friend, Mia Kyle, promised to beat him up if he ever stepped out of line. Even my older sister, Sarah Davis, choked up, swearing she would be there no matter how busy work got. On the big night, I wore the white dress Liam bought me. When I stepped into the venue, I realized the proposal had been transformed into a full wedding reception. I watched Liam Daniels

The Alpha's Undoing

The Alpha's Undoing

The story ended abruptly, the fate of the seal, its location, its nature—all of it, snatched away. Nate stared at the abyss, a chilly fear sliding down his spine. “It’s torn out,” he replied, his voice scarcely audible. Kieran was motionless for a long period, his gaze riveted on the damaged book. The air, previously dense with curiosity and simmering tension, suddenly felt electrified with a new, terrifying mystery. “Yes,” Kieran eventually answered, his voice low and keen with a hunter’s intent. “The most important part of the story is missing. The question is… who tore it out, and why?”

The Line I Shouldn't Cross

The Line I Shouldn't Cross

As I lifted the heavy book over the desk, the pages fanned open slightly. Something small and white slipped right out from the middle chapters. It fluttered softly through the air, landing flat on the dark wood of the desk right under the warm light of the lamp. I froze completely. It was a small, torn piece of lined paper. It had not been there when I left my room this afternoon. I had not opened this textbook while I was at Liya's house either. It had been sitting right in the open pocket of my bag the whole time I was working on the couch.

Wolf Tales

Wolf Tales

Maybe she'd been wrestling with one of those werewolves she'd been reading about. Still moving slowly she made her way to the living room to turn off the lights and check the locks. The lamp still burned by her chair but the book lay neatly on the coffee table as if placed there precisely. Yet something looked out of place about it. She picked it up and searched for the place she'd left her bookmark, realizing now what was wrong. No bookmark! What could have happened to it? Not only that, as she flipped to the front of the book to see if she'd tucked it there, she noticed part of the family chart was missing. Damn! Surely she hadn't torn it out and not remembered.
