Under the Blue Cold Moon
I felt a pull towards the outside like the moonbeams shining on the grass were a lighthouse in a roaring storm.
I walked right past everyone, even Theron, who had brushed my hand as I walked. I stepped onto the damp earth in my bare feet, feeling the earth’s electricity in every step. The hair on my arms raised, leaving goosebumps down my body. I could hear thunderclouds in the distance, rumbling quickly towards the town. I looked up at the night sky, moon bathing in the Blue Cold Moon, and allowed the earth to flow through me.
