She picks up her pace even further, running like a girl being chased by the wind. Her intuition was always valid. There was someone or something behind her.

She didn't have any choice but to hide her face down. While she was busy fixing herself so that she could proceed on her way, her attention was caught by a ruckus behind her. It was like there was a fight happening coming towards her direction by how the people buzzed and talk to each other. There were also furious yelling and cheering. She wasn't able to hold back her curiousity and turned to see it for herself. But just as she was about to turn to that direction, someone bumped into her from behind. She fell to the side from the impact. Luckily, her hands were quick to touch the ground and she didn't roll away from where she was.

For a heartbeat, she just stared at me like she couldn’t believe I was real. Then I frowned, before her tone cut through the tension like glass. “Behind you.”

I knew she was standing behind the pillar, listening in on our conversation. Her presence helped calm my wolf a little or it would have ripped out Isla's heart a moment ago.

She stepped inside and slammed the door shut behind her, leaning her back against it for support. "I... I got it..." she wheezed.
