Teach Me New Tricks

Teach Me New Tricks

“Do you like fantasy?” “Like dragons and Lord of the Rings stuff? No. I don’t think of the Greek gods as fantasy. I think of them as history.” He looked surprised. “So, you believe in it all?” I shrugged. “I don’t know that I don’t believe in it. I think you have to wonder where the stories came from. Every myth stems from something. What sparked the stories? And it is so elaborate. It would have taken a mastermind to just make up this whole world of people and give them each a story.”

The Charm Of Darkness

The Charm Of Darkness

It was our second anniversary, a time when things were simpler. — From what I read, the legend is about a king of Ancient Greece, Lycaon, who always killed those who stayed in his palace... one night, Zeus disguised himself as an old man, and asked the king for shelter, who somehow discovered that he was Zeus, so as a form of blasphemy and mockery, he served human flesh to the God of Olympus, who cursed him to become a monster, a wolf.

Anyway, I want that they would have this book. -"How about love? How love made world bad?" Maggie asked Lilliana and now I was curious too. -"The god who listened to people beggings... He was deeply in love with the goddess Cardea. She was a god of protection, and also a god of trees. she all the time protected humans and their houses from evil. Until she met the god of death. But she didn't love him, she fooled him instead of loving him. She hated how he kept human spirits, how he tortured them. How all gods played with people's lives she hated all of them and especially him. She loved humans more than gods.

Recognizing however that she is an important source of information to a seemingly important work that the great Douglas Miles has been covertly working on, they must hear what she has to say. "There is a legend told by the great philosopher Plato," she began to narrate. "About a great city that is said to have existed thousands of years ago long before the advent of any other advanced civilization. According to him, from the dialogues in his literary work Timaeus and Critias, it was a city populated by a noble and powerful race and so advanced in its time. It was told that the city displeased the Gods for their arrogance, bringing about its cataclysmic destruction in the deities' powerful ha

He didn't believe in any god, when he was the Lord of Lif The gods had never meant much to Moriah, though like most men he had been known to make offerings to the earrior before battle, to the smith when he launched a ship, and to the mother whenever his wife grew great with child. He felt ill as he watched them burn, and not only from the smo

Kas reaches out and takes her hand. “Mon ami, one day, people may think your story is a myth, but they will never hear of it if someone doesn’t tell it for the first time.” Delilah raises her hands high in the air and lets her voice ring words I don’t understand. “Me tin evlogía tis Mitéras mas, Ekátis, pros timín tis evgenoús Theás tis Selínis, Selínis. I am so glad we get for of Kas and Bronx and all their friends. The storytelling is exciting and the characters are complex and evolving. There is quite a cast of characters but the author does an amazing job of introducing them and only including necessary information so that you are not confused.

What a cliffhanger. You are an amazing writer. The series would make a highly rated movie. I would love it, only if they would let Neener Beener write the script. Others commented on the research and it's amazing. Does anyone know if this series is available in paperback? I need to buy 6 books.......

Forever in the Past and Forever in the Future

Forever in the Past and Forever in the Future

After a moment, she turns the screen toward me, “The word itself means wild or savage, but in Greek mythology, there was a Gigantes created to fight the Olympian gods during the Giant War, named Agrios. He was supposed to replace the Moirai, who are more commonly known as The Fates. It never came to be because someone killed Agrios during the war. “Okay. I will look into the definition side, you look further into the mythology side. Look for any covens or witch subcultures that somehow identify with the Gigante or maybe even the Fates.,” I write some notes on my notepad, “Bronx has restricted the fifth floor today, so no getting into his library.” “I can make do, Beta. Mind if I sit at the c

SO sad that some important characters died at the end, but I know it wasn’t Kas’s fault!! I felt “every” emotion known to man while reading it!!!

The Vampire Prince Wants My Blood

The cover reads 'Legend of the gods. Curiously, I flipped open the first page while still standing at the top of the ladder and I read. Then last of all is Khaos, known as the legendary beast. He was the least of all gods and the moon goddess put him in charge of taking care of her children on earth so there would be peace among all. The moon goddess gave him a
