Miwa's POV~ My eyes fluttered open and I lifted a hand to my face sleepily, rubbing my tired eyes. "Oh how cute!" A voice cooed, so alarmingly close to my ears. "HOLY FUCK!!!" It howled, thrashing, snapping the air with blackened teeth, but the vines held tight. Kira gaped. “What the hell was that?!” “Later,” I snapped, voice trembling. “We end it now.” She didn’t hesitate. One clean strike — metal against bone — and silence followed. The creature went limp. The vines retreated, curling back into nothingness, leaving behind only blood and dust. For a moment, none of us spoke. The sound of my heartbeat filled the void. She looked at a spot for over 5 minutes, Lakshmi and the other girls couldn't understand but Mia was actually replaying what Lakshmi did in her head.
