A cooler full of soda and sweet tea sat beside the grill, and the speaker played a mix of country, Taylor Swift, and songs from 2010 that felt like middle school all over again. Harper stood near the dessert table, watching Mia reorganize the cupcakes for the sixth time in twenty minutes. "Mia," she said, amused. "You’re nervous." Mia didn’t look up. "They’re unbalanced. See? The ones with the edible glitter need to be front and center. That’s where the light hits them best. Otherwise, they just look... dusty." Harper snorted. “Oh no. Not dusty cupcakes.”

Perhaps the Moon Goddess would take pity on me and send my mate to me. With my heart drumming in my chest, I entered the party hall with Hayden, he introduced me proudly. “Please welcome a new addition to my friends’ circle, Shyla Alford. She is the owner of The Marvel Cupcakes.” As my son was a miracle of nature, I named the shop after this bounty, hoping for my dear Goddess’s blessings. The small gathering of Hayden’s friends and his regular human customers was a pleasant event, I thoroughly enjoyed the company of friendly people.

Eyes widening with horror, as they shuffle to the side to try and cover the mug they have already made. I step easily around them, they aren’t game to touch me to stop me, and I pick up the finished mug, it has a wolf on it and I read the slogan out loud with a giggle. “’In my defence the moon was full and I was left unsupervised.’ It’s clever, are you both horror fans?” “Ah… it’s a just a joke…” James starts but is cut off the sound of the timer buzzing for the other mug still in the heating press.

I laughed hard at that one, while Prince Aidinth and Elliot just shook their heads and chuckled. After dessert, Princess Chloe and I cleaned the kitchen together while the Elliot and his dad started greeting alliance members and their mates. Princess Chloe and I started placing platters of cupcakes and cookies down the center of the conference room table and I made sure we had plenty of coffee and a pot of hot water on the coffee station. Alpha Damien and Luna Abby walked in while I was setting things up and she gasped, “These look amazing! Elisa, did you make all this?” I nodded, “I did. I worked on them all afternoon. I know brains function better when they have a little sugar boost, so I

I'm acting like a creep! “Ah, what can I get you, sir?” Camilla tried to steady her voice, not wanting to make the situation awkward. “Get me one of those cupcakes and a black coffee,” His hazel eyes raked over the shop. “You have great taste.” Camilla praised, “A heavenly piece of cupcake coming right up.” She joked. The door chime rang again, and she raised her head with a smile again, but her smile disappeared as soon as it appeared when she saw three goons from Donatello's walk in.

"I'm sure you'll figure it out." The person in front of us moved off to the side, and Luke stepped up to the counter. “Hi, what are you getting?” the barista asked, flashing him a million-watt smile. “Can I get an iced white chocolate mocha and a plain black coffee? Both large.” He leans against the counter as the lady makes our orders. "Here you go." She places the drinks on the counter in front of Luke. "Would you like to take along some cupcakes? They're fresh. I baked them this morning." She blushed prettily and avoids eye contact with Luke.

Then I approached him so I could take him to the oven with me. When we finished designing the cupcakes, since we were hungry from playing, we decided to eat the cupcakes for a snack. "What are you doing?" I asked Yelena to see if she would put two cupcakes on my side. "What's that for?" I'll add more. "It's for Mom and Dad." He answered me immediately. "Um, okay." I replied to him just in case I couldn't stop myself from making a side comment. "In the art of your Mommy Marga, I'm sure she doesn't want sweets because her body will have additional calories and then there's your Daddy..." And then I turned to Kenzo who was busy eating cupcakes in a social way.

The guys take no time at all to begin planning the party. Nobody really knows what the party is for except for the Hybrid Council. The fact that there are cupcakes with babies on them as well as a huge cake that says Happy Mates seems to be throwing off the bakery. The same can be said when Kevin went to get decorations and got some for both a baby themed party and a mating party. Now, the entire pack is excited about the party that they cannot seem to figure out.

“And you’d help me.” They both burst into laughter as they walked inside. The shop was not crowded just a few people sitting by the windows, enjoying their tea and cakes. Abigail and Maya made their way to the counter, their eyes roaming across the display. “Look at those cupcakes,” Abigail whispered, pointing at a row of delicate pink frosted cakes. “They look too pretty to eat.” “And that chocolate tart,” Maya added, her eyes widening. “I’m not leaving here without tasting it.” The girl behind the counter smiled warmly at them. “Good morning, ladies. What would you like to try?”

He urged us. Min Jun stretched his hand and picked up a cupcake. "What flavor?" he asked. "Chocolate," The man said. "Nice," Min Jun said and took a bite, it looked so creamy and soft and I wanted a taste too, I stretched my hand and picked up a cupcake. "vanilla," he said. I bit into it and met vanilla fillings in the middle, "This is perfect," I said with my mouth full of food.
