She managed to ask, her voice unsteady as she became nervous all over again. Sheila laughed some more, then slowed down as she gazed at her. “Oh, Maddy,” she said, stifling her laughter and taking in a deep breath. “What!?” Madison pressed, her thoughts spiraling. “It's you. You're so funny.” Sheila sneered. “You're trying to be brave to me and I think it's funny, and cute.” she added. Suddenly, her features hardened as she brought her face up close to Madison's, startling her.

Audrey muttered as a teasing smile started to play on her face. "He calls me by my first name why can't I do the same?" Maddie asked with a pout. Audrey chuckled. "It's not the same thing. He is your boss," Audrey pointed out. "Whatever," Maddie muttered, ending with an eye roll. Audrey laughed even harder and weirdly enough Maddie found herself joining her friend. The two girls laughed long and hard that Maddie was literally out of breath by the time they had ended their bout of laughter. They didn't even care about the stares their laughter attracted to their table.
